DmC Devil May Cry Vergil’s Downfall DLC slated for release in early March

Submitted by on Saturday, 23 February 2013No Comment

vergilSince DmC Devil May Cry released in January featuring half-Demon half-Angel brothers Dante and Vergil fans have been wondering when they’ll be able to play Vergil’s Downfall, a DLC announced before the games release.

It focuses on Vergil during events after the games conclusion, which I won’t speak about due to spoilers, as he fights his way through Limbo, slashing through those who stand in his way.

The DLC is said to contain several hours of gameplay with 4 difficulty levels as well as including a new move-list for Vergil. Also unique to Vergil’s Downfall are new enemies and areas not seen during Dante’s adventure.

The official trailer can be viewed below:

It will be priced at £7.29/€8.99/$8.99 on PSN but will be free to those who pre-ordered the game at participating retailers. Whilst you wait for this DLC, why don’t you play the recent free update that added the infamous Bloody Palace to DmC and see if you’re ready to tackle more Demons?

Are you interested in once again playing as Vergil? Let us know in the usual place below.
