Introducing the SC-1, Gioteck’s dedicated sports controller
You’re probably already wondering why you need another controller when you already have a DualShock 3 and maybe a fightstick or a dedicated FPS controller. The SC-1 features an increased level of customization, from programmable button layouts to sensitivity adjustments, ergonomic triggers, concave thumbsticks, and a power save feature in addition to the standard functions of a regular controller.
Players can set up macros of up to eight button sequences programmed to the F1 and F2 keys located just below the right stick on the controller. This can be used for complex button inputs or whatever maneuvers you may need to repeatedly perform. There are also four sensitivity options available to suit every gaming style.
The layout of the SC-1 is similar to that of the Xbox 360 with the left thumbstick and directional pad switching positions. Both thumbsticks and the L2 and R2 triggers also feature a concave design to prevent slippage while playing. The D-pad features a 360 degree design for easier move inputs.
Lastly, the SC-1 features a power save function that puts the controller into stand-by after 10 minutes of inactivity. The total battery life is indicated by the front facing LED lights located between the F1 and F2 keys. Unfortunately, we don’t know what the battery life of the SC-1 is yet but we’ll update you when we find out.
If the pricing is right, the SC-1 could be a decent addition to any gamer’s controller collection. Head on over to Gioteck’s official website for more information on the SC-1 as well as other accessories they offer.
