Dragon’s Crown receives a release date for North America

Submitted by on Wednesday, 24 April 2013No Comment

Dragon's Crown logoDragon’s Crown, the latest title from Japanese developer Vanillaware, finally has a release date. It releases in Japan on 25th July and in North America on 6th August but sadly, there is currently no confirmed date for when the well-endowed title will hit European shores.

It is Sony exclusive and will be available on both PS3 and Vita.

Sadly, Dragon’s Crown does not seem to be part of the cross-buy initiative that Sony have been heavily pushing that allows customers to own the title on both PS3 and Vita with only one purchase. The price on PS3 will be $49.99 whilst on Vita it will be $39.99 and we hope these slightly lower than average prices are reflected worldwide.

However, you will be able to transfer your save data between the two platforms but you’ll be unable to partake in cross-platform play, so make sure you and your friends all purchase it on the same platform to avoid disappointment.

The Dragon’s Crown may have to settle for being the second most sought after treasure.

The game will feature 4 player co-op, 6 character classes and gorgeous hand-drawn artwork.
