PS3A PlayTime: 13th-19th May 2013

final-fantasy-xiii-imageIt’s been a fairly busy week for the PS3 Attitude team, but we still managed to squeeze in a bit of good ol’ fashioned gaming. Getting some play time this week were Final Fantasy XIII, Knytt Underground, Spec Ops: The Line, Terraria, Persona 4: Arena, Persona 4: Golden and Persona 3: Portable (no prizes for guessing who’s been playing those last three!).

This has been a tough week from a gaming perspective thanks to being on the road all week. And by ‘on the road’ I mean driving, which makes even the Vita a redundant device. I suspect there will never be a time when we can game while operating a car (thankfully), so my options have been extremely limited. I did get to catch up on some game trailers though, and am extremely excited for NHL 14, GT6 and anything with Ellen Page in it.

I didn’t have much time to play a lot but managed to try out a few new games. Played a bit of Knytt Underground, Zombie Tycoon 2, and Malicious. So far it looks like I’ll be playing more of Knytt Underground as I’m not quite feeling the other two right now.

I’ve been mostly playing Persona 4 Arena! I’ve also been playing Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable. Other than those I’ve been playing Sonic CD, Sonic the Hedgehog, Terraria (with a review coming soon) and not much else this week! Very much looking forward to Resident Evil: Revelations next week but may have to wait to buy it at a later date; although with both that and The Last of Us coming out in the near future, it should be quite exciting!

I finally finished Spec Ops: The Line last weekend, which has been a bit of a revelation to me because I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did. I’ve completed it 100% apart from a FUBAR difficulty playthrough, which to be honest isn’t going to happen anytime soon! During the rest of the week I’ve continued with Final Fantasy XIII and Bit.Trip Presents… Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien (and yes, I insist on writing out its full name every time!). Away from games, I also watched the Doctor Who season finale, which completely blew me away and I’m now counting down the days to 23rd November!
