knytt-underground-imageUnfortunately DolphGB is still on the road this week, but the rest of us have been trying to fit in as much gaming as possible to make up for it. Specifically, Majiesto has been kicking back with his Vita, MitchJay92 has been beating up superheroes (and playing Persona… obviously), and I’ve taken it upon myself to play as many different games as I can.

This week I took it easy and played some more of Knytt Underground, as well as Germinator on the Vita. Germinator is a fun little puzzler that’s good in quick bursts but can get tiresome in extended sittings. The reason why I didn’t get much gaming in this weekend was because my time was spent watching the new season of Arrested Development. Suffice to say I didn’t make a huge mistake.

This week I’ve mainly been playing Persona 4 Arena (I know, it’s a real shock, right?). I’ve also been playing Persona 4, Persona 3 Portable, Injustice: Gods Among Us to try out Batgirl (she’s shot up to be one of my favourite characters in the game), and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception multiplayer. I’ve also been getting into Treasures of Montezuma Blitz again, but damn, some people rack up insanely high scores!

It’s been a pretty eclectic seven days. The easiest way to demonstrate this is by simply listing all the games I’ve played on Steam this week, which include Alan Wake, Bastion, Bit.Trip Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien, Bulletstorm, Dust: An Elysian Tail, Fallout 3, Flight Control HD, From Dust, Mark of the Ninja, The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom, Resident Evil 5, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction, Trials Evolution: Gold Edition, and I could go on (seriously). Oh, and Final Fantasy XIII on PS3 of course; can’t forget about FFXIII!
