Atlus has announced that Daylight, an upcoming survival horror game developed by Zombie Studios, will be available on PS4 early next year.
Undoubtedly the biggest surprise to come out of Ubisoft’s conference yesterday was the announcement of Tom Clancy’s The Division. The publisher arguably stole the show at E3 2012 with Watch Dogs, so could it be possible they’ve done the same this year with The Divide?
Judging by the first footage, they just might have.
Sony has revealed that the PlayStation 4 will cost $399/€399/£349 and will release in the US and Europe this holiday season.
The news comes from PlayStation’s annual E3 press conference, where Sony’s Andrew House announced the price, saying “it’s a very compelling price that offers incredible value given the amount of entertainment PS4 will provide to gamers over the next decade and beyond.”
Sony revealed a new trailer for Beyond: Two Souls at their E3 press conference earlier today. It features protagonist Jodie getting up close and personal without the use of her unique ability.
Sony announced The Order: 1886 as one of their many new IP’s at their press conference earlier today, and it’s shaping up to be a thrilling but grim supernatural tale.
Bethesda announced earlier today at Sony’s E3 press conference that The Elder Scrolls Online will be coming to PS4. Better yet, the beta will be exclusively available on PS4 first.
Avalanche Studios, developers of Just Cause 2, has revealed its game based on Mad Max and that it will be coming to PS4. With a teaser trailer below, there’s reason to get excited.
Alongside Kingdom Hearts III, Square Enix also announced the rebranding of Final Fantasy Versus XIII to Final Fantasy XV. A new trailer with gameplay accompanied this announcement and can be seen below.
Square Enix dropped big names at Sony’s press conference including Kingdom Hearts III, the long awaited sequel to Kingdom Hearts II on a home console.

Ubisoft announced 2 Trials titles, one for PS4 and one for mobile devices, which will both be available in 2014. Although not necessary to enjoy either title, both games will work together to create a better experience.
A new Mirror’s Edge game was announced today at EA’s E3 press conference, pleasing many gamers who were hungry for the next parkour title developed by DICE. Many thought it may have become vapourware but EA have confirmed that it is definitely coming… when it’s ready.
Watch Dogs was easily the most interesting game to be announced at last year’s E3. With its November release date approaching, Ubisoft is understandably keen to ensure people are still talking about it this year, so the publisher has released a new trailer ahead of its press conference later today.

We’re expecting a truckload of big game announcements, so it’ll no doubt be difficult to keep track of everything that’s going on. With the next console generation very nearly upon us, next week is surely destined to become the biggest E3 since 2005. Quite clearly, Sony’s focus will be on making sure they present the PlayStation 4 in the best light possible, but there’s still plenty to look forward to seeing on PS Vita and even PS3 too. As was probably obvious for the week before E3, the last seven days saw an unusually high number of announcements and other news-worthy stories (although we predict that it’ll all seem like absolutely nothing compared to next week!).
In the days of the PS2, if you asked me what my favourite videogame series was, I almost certainly would have said Ratchet & Clank. It’s somewhat depressing then, that the last couple of R&C games seemed hell-bent on destroying everything that was good about the series.
