Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Aveline missions detailed
With roughly an hours content putting Aveline back in the spotlight, the PS versions of ACIV are aiming to be the best.
Jill Murray, the lady who penned Liberation, is returning to continue Aveline’s story which picks up after the events of Liberation. Aveline may be a bit older but it doesn’t seem to have any affect on her assassin and super-human climbing skills.
Her journey will be broken up into 3 missions, similar to the Tyranny of King Washington in ACIII, and it will not be directly related to the end of her story so we will see her set out on a new adventure.
These missions will be accessible through the Animus in the modern day, where Abstergo are searching through genetic memories of Assassin’s.
Lead Writer of ACIV Darby McDevitt explains:
The present-day is set in Abstergo Entertainment – which is this fun, hip company to work for… at first,
McDevitt continues on to explain the Aveline segments:
You are able to access the Aveline stuff because your coworkers are working on retrieving different genetic memories from all kinds of different people.” Of course, this being Abstergo, there’s something much darker at play.
