lacbanner e1370038949497 London Anime Con expands lineup with more events, celebrities, and exhibitorsThe upcoming London Anime Con has released their schedule of events and has revealed that there will be an expanded presence of gaming events, celebrities, and exhibitors on the show floor. The convention runs July 20-21 and tickets are currently on sale.

Previously announced celebrities include voice actors Mike Pollock (Voice of Dr Eggman and Pokemon narrator) & David Vincent (voice of Grimmjow from Bleach) will be joined by cosplayers AlienQueen and Sean Bonnar, and X-Factor finalist Kitty Brucknel.

Attendees will also be able to relax in the expanded gaming lounge area and try their hands at one of 40 kiosks playing over 100 games including  DDR, Smash, Persona 4 Arena, SSIV, Mario Kart (both Wii and retro SNES), Goldeneye 64, Halo Reach, Gears of War Judgement, Naruto Ninja Storm 3, Modern Warfare 2 as well as Guitar Hero and Rockband. Cash prize tournaments will also be happening all throughout the convention so be sure to bring your best. Namco Bandai will also be in attendance giving fans hands-on timewith the upcoming Tales of Xillia as well.

Pay particular attention to the Cosplay Auction on Saturday and Sunday’s Gamer’s Day as we’ve teamed up with LAC to raise money for GamesAid. It’s going to be a great time so be sure to come on out and support a good cause.

“This year’s London Anime Con shall be bigger and better than ever”, convention organiser Michael Towers explains, “we have our best guest lineup ever, and an expanded event with many new areas. Make sure you don’t miss out!”
