With vehicles and aircraft of every conceivable type at your disposal, from jet fighters to jetskis, and a huge array of weapons at hand, Battlefield 4 takes everything you ever loved about the franchise and turns it up to 11.

The new Frostbite 3 engine not only gives players the freedom to play the way they want to, but it also offers the kind of building and scenery destruction we’ve been hoping for in an FPS for years. Destroying buildings isn’t something that is done for fun either – that explosive action can open up new routes, attack options and cover for you and your squad. This latest trailer from EA gives fans just a taste of what’s possible.

Battles take place on land, sea and air. Fighter jets have been re-balanced since the previous title with two classes; Attack and Stealth. Attack jets focus on air to ground, whereas Stealth jets are designed for air to air combat, which opens up even more possibilities for those that like to take to the skies. Speaking of which, the addition of a Chinese faction in BF4 allows you to try out some far east vehicles, including the Z-10W Attack Helicopter.

You’ll also find that cusomtisation has been improved with new camouflage options for weapons and clothing that can be set to change automatically based on the map you’re using. They call it ‘adaptive camo’. We call it ‘time saving and very handy’.

There are hundreds of ways to play Battlefield 4; the trailer only scratches the surface. Battlefield 4 is already out on the PS3 and also launches alongside the PS4 this Friday, November 29th in Europe. Will you be picking up a copy? Be sure to let us know in the comments, along with your preferred method of destruction.
