Articles by Danny D
Voted PS3 Attitude's favorite Staff Writer 15 minutes in a row, this undisputed and unrelenting Trophy King is among the weirdest individuals you will ever read from. Or about. Aboot if you're Canadian. Entertainment is the game and you already know his name. It's Danny_D by the way.
Join PS3 Attitude’s most colorful (albeit white-skinned) character as he delves into all things Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix from his twisted unique point of view. Some may argue that ‘demented’ is a more appropriate adjective than ‘colorful’ but we won’t pay attention to the voices in my head today. Part 1 is here to stay.
No, we are not talking about this amazing review. We are pleased to announce you that Killzone has gone gold. True to their word, Guerilla Games will deliver Killzone 2 February 27th in north America. Punctuality, what a concept. Non-UK Europeans and Australians get to thrash the Helghast a bit earlier; February 25th and 26th respectively.
A new Street Fighter IV trailer is here to remind us that there are less than 30 days for the US release. The full cast is here delivering some truly awesome one-liners such as the one featured in the title by the always awesome Dan.
IT’S ALIVE!!! The media enhancing and otherwise nothing else-y update 2.60 is now live. The update took me 15 minutes, and the photo gallery added xx minutes to the total time I spent staring at my HDTV because I have that kind of time (Note: I really don’t). Go grab yours while they last*.
If you are afraid of balls, this update is not for you. However, if you love balls you may be on the wrong site.
Still here? Good. F.E.A.R. 2 demo hits Qore subscribers and Magic Ball hits us all (hopefully not in the…well, you know). We also play catch up with Rock Band’s massive update, 12 songs in all!
The long awaited 1.30 patch for SOCOM Confrontation went live January 9th. A myriad of issues were addressed and some requested features were added.
In order to resolve one of the more important issues with Confrontation, incorrect player stat tracking, all player statistics were wiped clean during the update process. All was supposed to be well, the 1.30 update was the golden ticket to a smooth SOCOM experience.
Or so we thought.
You may have seen the first ever WWE Smackdown vs. Raw DLC pack hit the PS Store last Thursday. What you may not know is that us lucky PS3 owners got some exclusive content for being loyal SmackDown fans since the PS1 days.
Even if you joined the SmackDown express during the PS2 era or even just now on the PS3, THQ wants to let you know that we are their favorites by adding five exclusives to the DLC pack, including two lovely WWE Divas in Christmas getups. Rawr.
This is it.
Here is your update.
Not much of an introduction, I know. But the PS Store update is not too much too look at either. Unless you are a hardcore Mahjong enthusiast that is.
Once again online and brick and mortar retailers are luring some more pre-order bait to get those dollars flowing out of your wallets and into theirs. Call it one of the few positive by-products of this current credit crunch.
There are currently three retailers enticing you with free bonuses for buying possible game of the year contender and all around Sony AAA blockbuster Killzone 2. Read on to see all the North American pre-order bonuses available so far.
Are you 18 or older? Will you be in Las Vegas this Saturday January 10th? Are you any good at Street Fighter? Are you related to Daigo?
If you answered ‘yes’ to the first three questions then you should write your name, PSN ID and why you think you should have a chance to compete for Team PlayStation at iwannaplaystreetfighteriv@gmail.com.
If it weren’t for the inclusion (and Rock Band debut) of Snow Patrol, this would have been an all 70′s classic rock track pack. James Gang, Jethro Tull and Deep Purple come back from the past with tracks dating from 1970, 1971 and 1972 respectively. Neat huh?
Tis’ the season to…game. Europe’s store update finally brings some much needed (and asked for) demos in the form of Wipeout HD, Metal Gear Online and Sonic Unleashed. Put down your pitchforks, LittleBigPlanet’s Metal Gear …
I am not a fan of baseball and my last baseball gaming experience is easily described with a three-lettered console and a two-worded game: NES and Bases Loaded. So why am I actually (kind of) looking forward to MLB 09: The Show’s recently announced Spring 2009 release?

Merry Christmas! If you don’t celebrate Christmas then you are missing out on tons of free gifts and should reconsider. Thanks to us gift recipients we PS3 fans have this early PlayStation Store update, so it can’t be all that bad.
Guitar Hero is not offering holiday songs? Well don’t worry my holidazed friends, Rock Band is here to shred that Grinch back into the Disco era. Get ready to Rock the Holidays. There is also a Foo Fighters three pack thrown in for good measure.
You too can become a master of all things trivia that involve cartoon explosives and pies to the face thanks to this very colorful and informative HD video courtesy of our friends at the PlayStation Blog.
The final box art for Street fighter IV has been unveiled and guess what, Chun-Li’s 15 minutes are officially up in North America until the Chun-Li-centric Street Fighter movie opens (why?). Capcom has done their homework in the form of listening to fans through their Unity boards, other interweb outlets and oddly enough, laser cats.
A late update but a good one. The way too long-named Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars drops to the way more cofortable price of $9.99, Crash Commando is priced the same way to boot
Crash Commando makes its worlwide debut in Europe, but the masses are still sore abuot their lack of SSFIITHDR to even care. The Mercenaries 2 free map pack and the game Soldner-X: Himmelssturmer make their European debuts today.
