Voted PS3 Attitude's favorite Staff Writer 15 minutes in a row, this undisputed and unrelenting Trophy King is among the weirdest individuals you will ever read from. Or about. Aboot if you're Canadian. Entertainment is the game and you already know his name. It's Danny_D by the way.
Buzz Jr. Robo Jam will keep those wireless buzzers dust free for a while, and today’s PSone Classics may bring a nostalgic tear to your eye. Who ya gonna call when the BF 1943 servers crap out? The Ghostbusters demo, that’s who.
Today’s additional game content includes Motorstorm, Cross Edge (mostly free), Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires (completely free), Midnight club L.A. and Skate 2.
You already broke the servers, so you don’t need us telling you that Battlefield 1943 is out now. Remember your Sun Tzu ladies and gentlemen.
But what else made it today into the European PS Store? Plenty more. Three demos (Battlefield 1943, Ghostbusters and Fuel), additional content for Motorstorm, Skate 2, High Velocity Bowling and Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires.
There’s a new tour in town and its name is the RockStar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. Okay, so it is more a festival than a tour, but facts are facts: this one kicks the Vans Warped Tour’s ass from here to next Thursday and here’s why: it’s a metal and rock festival.
Six tracks from RockStar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival performers such as Slayer, Cannibal Corpse and Marilyn Manson are contending for your hard earned dollars, pounds or euros against an arguably far more popular threesome. Green Day is coming to town.
Did Europe get the superior update this week? They certainly have more downloadable games, a demo and a PSone Classic than North America. However, North America got balls. High Velocity Bowling Ball packs not found in Europe. Coincidence? You be the judge.
Cross Edge gets free items and a free dungeon while 007 Quantum of Solace gets a map pack. All this is exclusive to North America’s PlayStation Store, but is that enough to best Europe? Did they really have the best store update this week?
We were scared for a moment there. After a brief hiatus from the special E3 editions of PULSE, presented by the PlayStation Network, brings life back to the cold digital PlayStation world.
Take a look at today’s PULSE, presented by the PlayStation Network, after the break and don’t forget to get the HD version from the PlayStation Store later today.
It may not be the biggest, but it’s pretty good nonetheless. Europe gets its fair share of downloadable games this week with four new downloadable games including Punisher: No Mercy. Red Baron Arcade is the lone demo and James Pond 2 is the lone PSone classic.
MotorStorm gets the long awaited Expansion Speed pack and LBP celebrate USA’s independence with a free ‘Sacktue of Liberty’ costume. Dynasty Warriors 6 represents 200AD with free armour for all.
Both Arcade Stick Edition and Limited Edition versions of TEKKEN 6 previously announced for North America late last month will make their way to Europe.NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe announced today that gamers will have the three different options when TEKKEN 6 releases this autumn 2009. BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, the #1 arcade sensation in Japan, is finally upon North American fighting fans. Developed by Arc System Works, creators of the outstanding Guilty Gear franchise, BlazBlue arrived today for the PlayStation 3.

How would you celebrate 10 years of the popular NBA 2K franchise, and the milestone of having sold two million units of NBA 2K9 worldwide? By announcing (and later selling) a tenth anniversary edition of NBA 2K10.
The wisely dubbed NBA 2K10: Anniversary Edition, developed by Visual Concepts, is planned for release in North America this fall for the Sony PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system. This special anniversary edition will come packaged in a specially designed 2K Sports locker configured for game storage, and include exclusive items and special online privileges.
We hope you had enough of FIFA 09, because FIFA 10 is just around the corner. EA is churning out this year’s update to the football (not to be confused with gridiron football) franchise like only they can.
FIFA 10 aims to “deliver a new standard for authenticity with gameplay refinements and innovations that will make it the most complete and intelligent simulation of football”. We may have heard the same about FIFA 09 last year; apparently standards for authenticity and innovation get yearly updates as well.
Don’t have the chops to make it to the world’s greatest skateboarding event, the Maloof Money Cup? Neither do a lot of people so don’t feel too bad. But there’s good news for all you virtual skaters out there, you too can experience the ups and downs of the largest pursed event in the history of professional skateboarding.
The Maloof Money Cup makes its videogame debut in the critically acclaimed Skate 2, making it the skateboarding game to own on the PS3.
The following took place during a recent Capcom photo shoot to promote the upcoming PSN videogame Marvel vs. Capcom 2. PS3 Attitude was there as a guest director.
The events that unfolded were captured by the surviving camera crew in video and pictures. This is the first of a series of unfortunate set of events during said photo shoot.
After an eight month delay and millions of Potter-heads damning Voldemort for it, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince released today in North America. The United Kingdom fans have to wait a little more than that, 3rd July for you original Potter-heads. Never fret, PS3 Attitude is here to offer you the launch trailer wherever you may be in this (increasingly less) green earth.
The Vans Warped Tour is in full swing and so is the content on the Rock Band Store. Three more tracks from bands you may never heard of (but should) make their way to your PlayStation 3 this Thursday.

In case you need instructions on how to rock, don’t ask us. We don’t need them and we don’t have them. We’re hot blooded; go ahead and check it…and see. We like Sucker Punch (and inFAMOUS too!). Instead of pushing the numbers of on-screen pixels, frame rates per second, draw distances and all that technical jargon, we get numbers that really matter. Numbers that we can relate to.
The July issue of Game Informer has a number of fun facts from the Sucker Punch team about what really went down during the development of PS3’s latest exclusive darling inFAMOUS.
And today he gets the same movie made. Again. Can you believe it has been almost 29 years since the original Friday The 13th? And can you believe that technically the same movie has been made now twelve times? Leave it to American cinema not to let a franchise age like fine wine, but more like fancy milk.
With nothing to apologize for or explain, the PlayStation.Blog.US sends another solid update our North American way. We hear Europeans are not very happy with the ‘hey, what are ya gonna do?’ response from the European PSB.
We are confident that they will pull through and offer some great content in the future. We also hope they do in the very, very near future lest the people revolt and start playing ColecoVision or something.
Oops, we may have collectively hurt PlayStation.Blog.Europe’s feelings. They felt our cries of anger and disappointment and have asked patience from the European gamer. That may be a tall order; the European PS3 crowd has been very patient over a long period of time. Since 6 September to be precise.
Are you tired of waiting for a certain racing game that rhymes with land modismo hive? Did your club membership run out? Do you have a need that could not be covered by other racing games? If you are in North America, you might as well stop reading and hide under a rock until September. However, if you are in Europe, there is hope for your racing dreams.
