Voted PS3 Attitude's favorite Staff Writer 15 minutes in a row, this undisputed and unrelenting Trophy King is among the weirdest individuals you will ever read from. Or about. Aboot if you're Canadian. Entertainment is the game and you already know his name. It's Danny_D by the way.
This week we got a big update in Rock Band content; two packs and three tracks drop on the Rock Band store. First off, in celebration of the Vans Warped Tour kicking off this Friday, we get the ‘Warped Tour Pack’. Five tracks from a handful of the diverse band line-up on tour right now could be yours.
Clint Eastwood delivers another outstanding performance in Gran Torino, his first leading role in four years since Million Dollar Baby. Eastwood stars, directs and proves that he can still be a bad ass at 79 years old. We certainly wouldn’t get in his way, specially when he’s wielding a rifle. We wouldn’t feel lucky at all .
Apart from somebody mistaking him for Chuck Norris, a crime punishable by death in some states of the union, we have heard nothing but positive things about this week’s number one SD and HD movie of the week.
Not quite the same size as last week’s ultra big update, but it can hold its own thanks to the PSOne ultra mega classic Metal Gear Solid. Oh yeah, time to get sneaky like it’s 1998.
Can’t get enough foosball? There’s a demo for you. Want more JRPG than you can shake a review at? Three free packs for you. Crank it up to 11 with Rock Band’s Spinal Tap and Evanescence track packs and waste your money on even more ‘premium’ themes.
After last week’s big one, things have certainly slowed down significantly in the European PS Store update front. Not a big deal, some of us have yet to digest all the content from last week and we got games to play anyway.
Unless you got Rock Band, Guitar Hero, or are really looking forward for some more free MotorStorm livery packs there’s nothing here for you. Except for some cool videos like the Assassin’s Creed commented gameplay trailer, Inferno Pool, inFAMOUS and Mini Ninjas trailers.
Good news Qore heads, your final episode is finally coming out. After the much publicized pre-E3 leak and PSP Go! announcement fiasco, Qore comes back to win your good graces with a bit of a bribe.
An exclusive Qore T-shirt for PlayStation Home is bribe number one. After enabling the shirt in Qore, it will be accessible in your PlayStation Home wardrobe in both male and female variations. Want more free stuff?
After years in the making and months of developmental uncertainty, we finally have the Ghostbusters game we didn’t know we wanted so badly. Back in 2006, Slovenian developer Zootfly lit the five alarm fire that had the internet in a frenzy over a next generation Ghostbusters video game. Sony realized that they had a potential hit on their hands; they just needed the right developer to make this game shine.
But how well can a 25 year old movie franchise translate to a next generation video game and more importantly, to a totally new audience? There are many questions surrounding Ghostbusters: The Video Game but the most important is this, who ya gonna call?
This is more like it, can get behind this week’s number one PSN movie of the week. This weekend is the perfect time to stay home and enjoy a few good movies now that E3 is over. And you can’t go wrong with Taken.
Liam Neeson’s performance makes glad that he was only kidding when he said he would retire after Star Wars Episode I – The Phantom Menace; we could have done without Episode I though.
Do hefty men need hefty PS Store updates? Hell yeah we do! CellFactor, Trash Panic (yay) and, wait for it, Wolfenstein 3D. Frickin’ Wolfenstein man! Both Wolfie and Trash Panic are at that sweet $4.99 price point. Score!
Speaking of classics, the PSone classic Street Fighter Alpha 2 is here, along with three demos: the just released CellFactor, the Europe-had-it-first Fight Night Round 4 demo and the we-thought-it-was-360-exclusive Overlord II.
Today’s update may be proven to be a wimpy one compared to the HEFTYness promised by the US PlayStation.Blog. Time will tell.
Final Fantasy VII made it into today’s update, barely. Only the English and Spanish …
Behold their top 10 reasons why it’s cool to be evil video. Reasons nine and eight are very popular around these parts.
Minions to do your bidding, people to enslave, maidens falling for you, places to be destroyed, armies to annihilate; the list goes on and on. Animals to mount seems to be a popular reason too, but we are uncertain as to why.
Sonic is at it again! Fresh off his retro foray into SEGA’s old-school library of video game gems, the blue bomber is giving those old red sneakers a break. He’s putting the pedal to the metal along with a few of his SEGA buddies in Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing.
Another day, another batch of awesome E3 videos. In order to keep up with all the news, updates, videos and reveals, the PlayStation Store will be updatedwith the latest content straight from the show floor.
All three parts of the Sony press conference are now live, if you didn’t stream it or read all about it you can now see for yourself what the fuss was all about. The PS3, PSP and press conference opening sizzles are ready to be downloaded as well. It’s sizzle time!
You are a young ninja-in-training. You are the leader of a band of diminutive ninjas. You are facing the Evil Samurai Warlord and his army. You must defeat him and bring back the forest animals back to their original state. You are Hiro (no relation).
Humor, cuteness and sleek ninja action are all parts of yet another game that we can’t wait to play. Thanks E3. Mini Ninjas will release this fall for the PS3 and other consoles.
Hello Europe! We are enjoying E3 in sunny Los Angeles and we really wish you were here. Actually, we don’t. This place is too crowded as it is.
Realizing this, SCEE posted this update full of E3 trailers for your viewing pleasure. Don’t worry mates, the regular Thursday update is still coming. So are VidZone and Final Fantasy VII, remember that patience is a virtue…but no one will blame you if your virtue ran out long ago. We understand.
In case you were under a rock, just came out from under it and stumbled on this post, E3 is in full swing. In order to keep up with all the news, updates, videos and reveals, the PlayStation Store will be updated daily with the latest content straight from the show floor.
The E3 category in the US and Canadian storefronts will be full of the latest videos, games and other goodies for your downloading pleasure.
As you may already know, PS3 Attitude will be next week in Los Angeles to cover E3 and to meet with readers and industry friends while sharing a few drinks and giving away cool prizes.
SEGA has shared with us a Bayonetta E3 trailer with more WTF moments than a WTF family vacation in WTF City, Kentucky (Population: WTF!?). If this game wasn’t on your radar before, we suspect you just got a major blip on your screen; either that or you got a text. Anyway, take a look at Bayonetta fighting just about everyone and everything in this E3 video.

You can’t wait for some more JRPG action in your PS3? In fact, neither can we after watching a sneak peek of Level-5′s White Knight Chronicles E3 trailer. It looks so…monumental. Were you expecting the ‘e’ word? Sorry, Phreaky owns the exclusive rights to that one; he won them in a hand of poker against Eidos. Don’t ask.
Our paperboy did not have a long run. In fact, he didn’t even make it out of that neighborhood before word spread and the authorities were involved.
Always the optimistic one, our bionic protagonist made the best of his house arrest by earning a proctologist degree by mail. They should really make background checks before mailing degrees all willy-nilly.
Are you surprised at the number one PSN movie of the week? Oh yes, we were too. Turns out that there is good reason behind that; Outlander got a limited theatrical release at the end of January 2009. Apparently it has earned a cult following since then.
You may also want to check out the new DC Comics channel, full of super hero goodness. Batman, Superman, Justice League, Watchmen; you name it. If it’s DC Comics, it’s there for your downloading pleasure.
