I've been gaming since I was just a wee lad but it wasn't until about 5-6 years ago that video games really started to grab ahold of me. Now, I play pretty much every day. I enjoy games from just about every genre, although fighting games and JRPG's have yet to really grab me. I'm a particular fan of on-line and co-op game modes, and I really enjoy the social aspects of those kinds of games. I'm always up for talking about games and technology so if you ever see me around, don't be afraid to strike up a conversation.
Interested in Fallout: New Vegas? So are we, and we’ve got the newest screens for all to see.
Whether it’s the newest protagonist, the disgusting ghouls or the massive mutants you’re interested in, these new captures have something for everyone.
When word of Dead Space 2 was first announced, it whipped everyone in to a frenzy here at the Attitude Towers. We all strapped on our armor and loaded up our plasma cutters for some fresh Necromorph limb-cutting action. Unfortunately, that only led to us taking Majiesto to the emergency room after Delriach accidentally mis-took him for an alien and severed his right arm.
Now that the wounds have healed and Majiesto has learned to shoot with his left hand, we’re ready to load up once more with the announcement of Dead Space Ignition.
So what’s this new title all about?
Anyone out there still playing Battlefield: Bad Company 2? If so, have you been to the in-game store and looked under the ‘upcoming’ section? For those of you that have, you may have noticed something new that has recently popped up. For those of you that haven’t, we can feel your curiosity and we’re here to bring you the info.
Do you Play? Do you Create? Do you Share? If so, then you’re probably still playing ModNation Racers, and you’re probably also knee-deep in all the DLC content they release every week.
How about some more?
We can never have enough options can we? It seems these days that just when you think you’ve got it made with your console and gaming set-up, something new comes out. Well, Sony is about to continue that trend by offering a few new PS3 Slim models.
So what exactly is new about these models?
If you’re anything like us here at Attitude Towers, you remember the good ol’ days. The days back when the PlayStation One ruled the console roost, and that one analog stick the N64 had was ‘over-rated’. Remember those times?
If so, then you might remember a little game called Medal of Honor. If you played shooters back in that era, then chances are you know exactly what Medal of Honor is.
We’re pleased to say that many years later, the franchise seems to be ready to try and take back the shooter crown; a mantel that it has since lost to the likes of titles such as Call of Duty and Battlefield.
Have you ever been getting dressed for the day, but just felt like your wardrobe wasn’t complete because you didn’t have a pair of PlayStation-themed shoes? Of course you have, what sane gamer hasn’t?
Now, Nike offers the solution.
Are you one of those gamers that likes to get your ‘munch’ on while playing your PS3? If so, Sony now has you covered… assuming you like pizza.
Just recently Infinity Ward allowed a small group of very privileged individuals to check out the multiplayer in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Unfortunately there apparently was some mix up with the invitations and we here at PS3 Attitude weren’t invited(end of sarcasm), but that’s not going to stop us from bringing you all the delicious details!
It’s been almost exactly two years since Codemasters released the original ‘DiRT’ racing title. When it hit shelves back in 2007, it was very well received by most, and some even hailed it as the greatest rally-racing game money could buy.
Now, Codemasters have given us DiRT 2, which contains a larger bag of tricks and more polish on the outside, but can it live up to the overall success of its predecessor?
A lot has been said about firmware 3.0. People have been very vocal about things they like and things they don’t like.
Well we hope you all like the new PlayStation Store icons that have popped up on the XMB, as well as the ‘What’s New’ section, because according to a certain developer, it’s driving sales way up.
Which developer, and how far up?
Anyone who lives in the United States might want to head out to their nearest Toys R’ Us, as they’re having a great deal on some of the PS3’s best selling titles.
Just how good is this deal?
Not long ago we gave you a look at some of the games that were expected to be seen at the Tokyo Game Show. Now that the show is a little closer, we have more for you to salivate over.
Just recently, Sony Computer Entertainment of Japan announced the full list of playable PS3 titles that will be gracing the Sony booth at TGS.
Assuming you’re one of the few planning on attending, what can you expect to see?
What can you do when you’re given 1.5 Gigabytes of space to put a demo out with? A ton, if you’re developer Naughty Dog, that is. We’ve just got more details regarding a demo of one of the most highly anticipated games of the year, Uncharted 2, following the announcement we made earlier.
So when can you get your hands on this mega-demo?
Old-school American football fans rejoice! Recently, EA Sports announced the ‘AFL Legacy Pack’ which is coming soon to Madden NFL 10.
You remember the AFL, right? The American Football League was an integral part in creating the game of football we have today, and helped give birth to the NFL we all currently know and love.
So what exactly does this pack entail?
If you pay attention to any form of mass media, be it television, radio or the internet, you’ve probably seen or heard Sony’s new marketing campaign adverts. The feedback that we’ve seen has been almost all positive, and everyone seems to think the new ads are good. Except, of course, the Nigerian Government.
So what exactly has their feathers ruffled?
If you’ve been playing multiplayer games on the PS3 for very long, you may have noticed how game-invites have been changing over the years.
Well we’re pleased to see another change that’s coming very soon, starting with Codemasters’ new rally-racer, DiRT 2.
“So what’s the big change?”, we hear you ask…
Late last week the US Playstation Blog reported that SCEA is aware of the issues with Firmware 3.0.
Anybody experience any of these first-hand?
