I've been gaming since I was just a wee lad but it wasn't until about 5-6 years ago that video games really started to grab ahold of me. Now, I play pretty much every day. I enjoy games from just about every genre, although fighting games and JRPG's have yet to really grab me. I'm a particular fan of on-line and co-op game modes, and I really enjoy the social aspects of those kinds of games. I'm always up for talking about games and technology so if you ever see me around, don't be afraid to strike up a conversation.
The launch of Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is very quickly approaching and we know there are a lot of you out there that are excited. We are too. In celebration of that excitement and the upcoming release date, we’ve got a ton of new content. Developer diary? Check. 40 new screenshots? Check. New gameplay videos? Check.

With all this talk about Medal of Honor it has been easy to forget about that other big military shooter, call of Duty: Black Ops. Treyarch is putting their game back in the map with week with the talk about Nazi Zombies (although specific details have kept us from reporting it) and a new customization video. EA has been promoting Medal of Honor like crazy over the past few months. Their line of Medal of Honor Experience videos have been great and all the press they’ve gotten over the Taliban controversy hasn’t hurt, either. EA announced recently that all that publicity is paying off in the form of preorders.
The first ever Platinum Community Member of the Month competition has been a resounding success. We’ve seen a drastic increase in both the number of overall comments, as well as the average number of comments per article. We’d like to thank all of you that have partaken in this event and helped propel PS3 Attitude to where it is today.
While we won’t be ready to roll out the winners of September’s contest until next week, that’s not going to stop us from letting you know what we’re giving away for October.
We get the feeling that Castlevania: Lord of Shadow is going to pass unnoticed for a lot of gamers. It’s a real shame too, because it looks like it’s shaping up to be a great game. With hopes of driving the hype train as far as they can, Konami has just released a massive video, giving gamers a little more insight on some of the game’s details.
It’s that time again! Time for the North American PlayStation Store Update! We’ve effectively named this one the ‘demo update’ because it containts six demos. So if you’re the ‘try it before you buy it’ type, then this is the update for you!
Aside from all the demolicious goodness, we’ve also got 3 new games to download. If you’re a PlayStation Plus member, this might not be as exciting for you since 2 of them were available for download last week. Regardless, Deathspank: Thongs of Virtue, Swords & Soldiers and the long awaited Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light are all available.

Uncharted 2 is undoubtedly one of the greatest PlayStation 3 games of all time. When it first launched in October of 2009, it achieved high levels of success in many forms. One of those forms came in the way of game of the year awards. Now, to celebrate the many aformentioned awards it received, it’s going to be getting an official game of the year edition.
