Articles by Matthew Wingler (Echo307)
I've been gaming since I was just a wee lad but it wasn't until about 5-6 years ago that video games really started to grab ahold of me. Now, I play pretty much every day. I enjoy games from just about every genre, although fighting games and JRPG's have yet to really grab me. I'm a particular fan of on-line and co-op game modes, and I really enjoy the social aspects of those kinds of games. I'm always up for talking about games and technology so if you ever see me around, don't be afraid to strike up a conversation.
One of the staff members at Media Molecule has just blown the lid off the LittleBigPlanet 2 beta.

If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance you’re wondering just exactly what TerRover is and why we’re doing a hands on article about it. Both answers are quite simple.
What is it? TerRover is a downloadable game that is coming to the PlayStation Store in the near future.
Why are we giving you these impressions? Because it’s awesome.
It’s been almost a year since Borderlands first graced the console world, so you’d have every reason to think they were probably done putting out DLC. Gearbox apparently isn’t done yet, though.
So what is this new revolution and when can we expect it?
We’ve been scratching our heads here at the Attitude Towers for the past few weeks wondering where the multiplayer details are for Call of Duty: Black Ops. With a game that has such a following for the multiplayer aspect, you’d think Treyarch would be hyping it months and months before the game’s launch.
Finally today we got our first look at the action. So will you like it? Well, that depends on whether or not you liked the last Call of Duty game.
Split/Second caught a lot of people off guard when it landed in May, as not many gamers were expecting this arcade racer to amount to any kind of real success. Now, not only has the game sold fairly well at retail but it’s also been well received by the media.
Black Rock Studios – the game’s developer- has just announced that there is an overabundance of DLC on the way in the next couple of months.
Namco Bandai has announced that they are bringing a new Ace Combat game to the masses, and unlike their last title, this one is coming to the PlayStation 3.
So what kind of details do we have?
Just last week we brought you an entire host of screenshots for the very highly anticipated, Little Big Planet 2.
Today we bring you the newest trailer released for Media Molecule’s upcoming sequel, and boy is it a doozy.
We’re hearing a lot about the upcoming PlayStation Move as its launch draws near, but something we haven’t heard a ton about are the exclusive games that will come with it.
Today, we’re pleased to be able to bring you some new screenshots for one of those Move-only titles.
There has been a lot of news and information recently about Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, and with its release just days away you can understand why.
Today, we bring you a surplus of new videos and screens.
Fond of Zen Pinball? Looking for another reason to go back and wear out your flippers? We’ve got the reason, right here.
The Mars DLC table has landed and we have the low-down about the newest download for the classic PSN pinball game.
Much to the surprise of us here at the Attitude Towers, Crysis 2’s release has been pushed back.
How far back?
Need for Speed: Shift 2 was announced by EA recently, and it was done in quite possibly the most boring fashion imaginable.
So what details can we tell you about this new sequel?
When we put together an article previewing a game with either a new trailer, new screenshots or some other piece of information, we usually try and make the game sound as good as we can. After all, there’s no reason not to be optimistic about a new game that we haven’t played, right?
Little Big Planet 2 is an exception. You guys all know what Little Big Planet is and we realize that no matter what we show you or how respectable we try and make it look, we’ll probably fail miserably when it comes to making you anymore enthralled than you already are.
Fresh of the heels of our announcement that Mafia II would be getting a demo this month, we’ve got another trailer for you to slobber over.
This one might just be the most stylish yet.
We’ve just caught wind that the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor will grant you access to the Battlefield 3 beta.
We know what you’re thinking, Battlefield 3 hasn’t been announced yet, and you’re right but that’s not stopping EA DICE from making this offer.
We’ve heard through the grapevine that the massive hit, Angry Birds, is heading to the PlayStation 3. Until now, the game has been available exclusively on the iPhone but the game’s developers, Rovio, have now decided to branch out to other platforms.
So what exactly is Angry Birds?
If you remember back to just last year, we reviewed DiRT 2 and had nothing but great things to say.
Now, DiRT 3 is on the horizon and while it may still be way off in the distance, the fact that it’s in sight is enough to make us prance… well, not really, but you get what we’re trying to say.
Hulu Plus for the PlayStation 3 has landed here in the States… or at least a preview version of it has.
In doing so, it has set out to bring a ‘premium’ version of the standard Hulu service you can currently get on your PC’s called ‘Hulu Plus’ – or at least, premium, is what they’d have you believe.
Regardless, going up against the juggernaut that is Netflix when it comes to instant streaming is no easy task, and we recently got some hands-on time with this new service.
So how does Hulu fair?
Can you sense the frustration in our quotations?
It wasn’t long ago that we were complaining about the lack of real map packs to be released for Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
Now, DICE has given us reason to call in the whaaaaamblulance yet again.
