I’m not usually one for predictions, but I believe Assassin’s Creed 3 will not only be one of the best games of the series but also one of the best of the year.

Today Ubisoft dropped an awesome developer walkthrough that takes you through one of the game’s newest locales: Boston.

After a little controversy, the wonderful folks at Square Enix have gotten their groove back and put out a pretty awesome video for Hitman: Absolution. In it, two of the developers take us through an almost 18-minute gameplay walkthrough.

The third best sport on the planet (behind soccer and curling) has its digital doppelganger coming out today. NCAA Football 13 from EA Sports makes its annual return to the gridiron looking to fix a few errors and add some new features to the mix for veteran players.

This week has been a very busy week for the folks over at 2K Sports. Along with the reveal of their cover athletes, they dropped another nugget of info on us today. 2K Sports, the reigning king of all things basketball, announced a special treat for fans of its long running series, NBA 2K13 Dynasty Edition.

2K Games has been teasing us for a long time with screenshots, developer commentaries and bandanna swag for their newest game Spec Ops: The Line.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is having a pretty cool contest that lets you re-imagine what the game might sound or look like by creating an original piece of art or music that reflects the games style.

Namco Bandai says it’s asking its fans “one simple questions”, which is: “if I were in charge of Tekken Tag Tournament 2, what would it look and sound like?”

When Sony introduced the Vita, one of the touted features of the device was the ability to have some connectivity between it and the PlayStation 3. Whether it be engaging with console players while on your handheld or transferring saves between the two for quick pick-up-and-go gameplay, it looks like things have gotten even better. WipEout 2048 will have the ability to use DLC from WipEout HD and WipEout HD Fury via a feature called “Cross-Buy”.

With the Vita’s game library seemingly growing daily, developers are looking to eek every ounce of graphical fidelity and use all of the hardware’s functionality to the fullest. Sega’s Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz seems to be doing just that.

Lollipop Chainsaw, the eagerly awaited game from the mind of Suda51 and Kadokawa Games should now be out in the US and is launching in the UK on the 15th. To kick off all the cheerleading chainsawing madness Warner Bros has put out a lovely launch trailer to get all of us ready for the mayhem.

It looks like Sony and the developers over at nDreams have a huge hat to hang on their mantle. The PlayStation Home free-to-play game Aurora has just reached the one million unique player milestone and looks to be setting the console standard for this kind of model.
