The official Need For Speed site shows no listing or pre-order option for any Vita version, but three of the largest online gaming retailers in the world beg to differ. Valve is stepping up their presence on PS3 with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Packed with new maps, weapons, modes and the promise of post launch DLC. CS: Go, as the kids are calling it, is a PSN downloadable game coming 21 August, 2012 for $14.99. Are you ready to strike down terror with a keyboard and mouse on PS3?
This seems to be the year of the Canadian indie developer for PlayStation 3, as DrinkBox Studios showcases their newest SCEA “Pub Fund” baby with Guacamelee! DrinkBox describes the game as a co-op multiplayer “Metroid-vania style action-platformer set in a magical Mexican inspired world.”
Motorstorm RC has a new contender on the PlayStation 3, not Vita, as of yesterday. Bang Bang Racing is a top-down super-deformed racing game that borrows a lot from several other racing games and rolls them into this one neat little game for $9.99. Does it have what it takes to cross the finish line?
The E3 2012 Sony press conference was definitely the highlight of the day for us. There was a considerable about of clarity and new reveals to satisfy the palette for a little while. We can’t help it knowing that there is more to be revealed for PS3 and Vita from both Sony and the amazing developers at E3 in the days to come. Ubisoft has closed the doors on their 2012 E3 press conference and open the doors to a new Splinter Cell game on PlayStation 3. Coming spring 2013, can’t get any more tentative really, Splinter Cell: Blacklist aims to rectify the lack of Sam Fisher on our XMB toting blu-ray disc console. PS3 may not have had Conviction, but it will get a Blacklist.

The UK can call itself king of video games now, after Cyanide Studio and Focus Home Interactive have officially announced Pro Cycling Manager 2012 for PS3. The definitive cycling simulation series, say that 10 times fast, has had a couple years of PC experience and the Tour de France 2011 affair on PS3. This cycling trip will cost you much less than a real road bike, although won’t promise to get you off the couch.
Capcom-Unity posted some disappointing news today. Fate/Unlimited Codes for PSP has been diagnosed with acute “expiring digital license” and its fate on the PS Store is limited to 12 June. Until then, the PSP digital download is on sale for $9.99.

Announced just today, Spy Hunter will find itself refreshed and rebooted on the PS Vita this fall. A classic vehicular shooter like Spy Hunter will serve itself nicely amongst the lack of classic reboots offered up for the Vita thus far.
