I have been an avid gamer since I learned how to hold a controller. My favorite games include Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Mega Man, Ratchet & Clank, Resident Evil; the list could probably go on forever. I am also a big movie and television junkie. Pretty much anything technological or entertainment-related will satisfy my curiosity.
Mention ‘survival horror’ and what is the first thing that comes to mind?
For most video game enthusiasts, that would be ‘Resident Evil’. The fifth installment, although technically the seventh in the main series, has garnered a lot of heat from issues of racism to the exclusion of ‘run-and-gun’ controls.
With the highly successful Resident Evil 4 bringing the series to a new level, can 5 live up to its predecessor whilst remaining fresh and new?
The wait is finally over as the Titan Pack will be hitting the PlayStation Store today. Best of all, it’ll cost you nothing. Holy haberdashery, Batman! $100 for a collector’s edition and it is not related to Resident Evil, Killzone 2, or any of the other much anticipated games of 2009. Speaking of Killzone 2, was there even a collector’s edition? Where’s my Helghan mask and helmet?
We’ve seen Sackboy traverse the African safari, pilot a spaceship, and even battle a ferocious dragon but now we will witness him take on his biggest challenge yet; a hole in one on course 7. That’s right, our favorite little creature will be taking a break from LittleBigPlanet and playing a few rounds in Hot Shots Golf 5.
