Sony Reminds us of Blockbuster Exclusives and Killzone 2 in 4-D

Just in case you forgot about all the giant blockbuster titles that Sony has in store for us this year, they’ve sent out a reminder. According to a press release sent out by SCEA:

“Kicking off the new line up, Killzone®2 is set to launch on February 27, 2009 and promises to be the industry’s first major gaming hit for 2009 as well as a key driver for PlayStation®3 (PS3â„¢) hardware sales. Killzone 2 is the third installment of the popular PlayStation-exclusive franchise, and the first of the series to appear on PS3. If selected, you will then participate in a multiplayer match against eight others in which the top four get the opportunity to play with the Resistance 2 team. The sequel to the highly popular Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has just been confirmed. Announced as part Activision’s forth quarter earnings call for 2009, Modern Warfare 2 is sure to impress. Street Fighter IV Championship Mode Announced

Not too long ago, just a few hours to be exact, we brought you news that Street Fighter IV would be getting alternate costumes in Japan. Well we now know that those same costumes will be hitting North American shores in packs of five as well, beginning February 17th for $3.99 each.

What we didn’t know then is that more DLC is on its way. Announced today is Championship Mode, an expansion pack which will add new and unique gameplay options to the game. Oh, and did I mention that it will be available free of charge?
