I have been an avid gamer since I learned how to hold a controller. My favorite games include Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Mega Man, Ratchet & Clank, Resident Evil; the list could probably go on forever. I am also a big movie and television junkie. Pretty much anything technological or entertainment-related will satisfy my curiosity.

Street Fighter IV & Resident Evil 5 Making Their Way Home

According to Andriansang.com, RE5 will have Home support from the get go with Street Fighter adding functionality through an update. The lounge for Resident Evil 5 will have a Kijuju theme and players will be able to join co-op games and such from there. Users will also be able to unlock items during their playthough of the game as well as purchase costumes of their favorite characters. Looks like we’re going to have a lot of Ryu’s and Ken’s running around.

New X-Blades screenshots; no butts about it

You might have remembered last week when we posted screenshots of the upcoming X-Blades, featuring the lovely Ayumi and her…umm…assets. There is nothing cheeky about this set. Instead, this new back of shots show off her other assets; I’m talking about the swords here folks, along with some interesting looking demons. Hit the jump for the rest of the pictures…

Cuboid: A Most Puzzling Conundrum

You never would have guessed it but Cuboid is quite addicting. There is great satisfaction when you move that block into position and hear the winning chime. Some of the more difficult puzzles, the later ones on Expert, can take upwards of twenty minutes each. Yikes! That’s what I call dedication. Of course, it’s going to be different for everyone but it definitely takes some thought and pre-planing if you want to get the best score.

The Good and Bad of Collector’s Editions

Figurines, art books, soundtracks; it is all good stuff but presentation is key. It is what sets them apart from the rest of the games out there. Ranging close to 1.5x the price of the game itself, are these so called Collector’s Editions worth collecting though?

We take a look at both the usual and unique items in Collector’s Editions and whether they are deemed fit to be worthy of their name…

7 New Gas Guzzling Screenshots for FUEL

Take a look at 7 new screenshots for the upcoming FUEL. It looks like we have some expansive environmental landscapes to gawk at including lightning, a tornado, and possibly and earthquake?

We especially love the attention to the rider details on the bikes. The gritty look of their clothes is crisp and defined, just as it is on the vehicles as well. Check out the rest of the screens after the jump…

Prince of Persia Epilogue DLC Announced

Prince of Persia was probably the last great game of 2008 to be released but that doesn’t stop it from having a fantastic 2009. We knew that Ubisoft had some big plans for the Prince’s future but we had no idea they were this big. The DLC, set to hit the PSN Store on February 26, continues directly from where the original story ended.

In addition to continuing the storyline, the Epilogue pack will add a new power for Elika, an attack for the Prince, new locations and enemies, and 2 bonus skins for when you complete it. IGN interviewed Jamal Rguigui, Associate Producer for the Epilogue DLC, and here’s what he had to say…

New Final Fantasy XIII Trailer in 11…10…9…

Hours that is. We all know how addicting countdowns can be and the one for the new Final Fantasy XIII trailer is no exception. The website for the game has a countdown that is currently around 11 hours. When that time comes around, I’m sure there will be massive panic across the world as the site crashes due to enormous amounts of traffic.

Unfortunately there is no word on just what type of trophies will be included in the game but we do have a brief description of how Sixaxis will be implemented…
