E3 12; Tomb Raider preview; a dark and grittier Lara

Last year, Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix wowed us with a darker and grittier Lara Croft than we’ve seen before. When PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale was announced, people were quick to dismiss it as just another Smash Bros. clone; after all, it does feature many of PlayStation’s most notable franchise figureheads battling it out in an arena-style fighting game. After going hands-on with the game this past week at E3, we’ve realized that while it may appear similar to Nintendo’s brawler, it’s an entirely different beast.
