I’m more of a musician than a gamer, but the difference is only slight. I was brought up on platformers such as Ratchet and Clank as well as Jak and Daxter, and while that still holds, I now also dabble in immersive FPS games like Far Cry 2 and Killzone 2, not to mention loving the Uncharted series. At the moment I study Composition and sell my music online, as well as manage Audiofictions; a Harry Potter fanfiction podcast. In the future I hope to be a well-known contemporary composer, gaming composer, or gaming journalist.

What’s Next for Ratchet and Clank?

Ratchet and Clank started out as a curious game for the PS2, where the blend of comedy, cartoonish violence and sheer absurdity of the weapons charmed everyone who came into contact with it.

Now, its spawned one of the most popular franchises for the PlayStation, and with their second PS3 game being replayed again and again and again, Insomniac Studios seem to be taking a break to focus on their other franchise, Resistance.

So what can we expect to see for the future of Ratchet and Clank?

Balanced Weapons in ModNation Racers

Some racing games can seem quite unfair. You’ve spent an entire race building up to first place, and just before you cross the finish line some guy shoots you with a missile and blazes past you at twice your speed to steal your hard-earned victory.

Thats why the makers of ModNation racers have promised that their weapons will be more balanced than other racers.
