Huge hulking supersoldier. Ace spacecraft Pilot. Ass-kicking female parkour expert. These are things I am not. Not in real life, at least. In the digital age, however, things are different. I command legions, leap between buildings and kick seven shades out of any oncomer. Sometimes. Games are the Yin to the Yang that is my daily grind of a job. I get to release all my stress and catch up with near and distant friends. And best of all, I get to inflict my opinions on all things game on people I don't know. Some people even like what I say. Result!
We take a look at what the attraction of Home is – if any, and whether or not there is any merit in the suggestion that Sony are rushing to get it out the door.

But the guns on display here are merely the cherry on the cake…
In my blatant hunt for easy trophies this week, I came across 2 stories which filled me with glee. Two games are to be patched with trophies in the near future. In fact, they already were. Then one wasn’t. Then it never was in the first place.

With little better to do, I downloaded the Age Of Booty Trial today to give it a whirl.
Should I have set my hopes up for the high seas and open oceans in this click ‘n’ go pirate-a-thon? Would I have be better off lowering my expectations like the trawling nets of a weirdy-beardy fisherman on one too many rums?

Blitz Games CEO Andrew Oliver spoke at the recent 3D Entertainment Summit in LA about some super-funky new technological advances the company have been squirreling away on for the past few years. The end goal is to have true stereoscopic gaming a real possibility on the home consoles.
Basically, this means that we could be on the verge of proper 3D gaming; think explosions that not only surround you in an audio sense, but also in a visual sense. “Like what?” I hear you ask…
Today it has been announced that THQ, SEGA, Eidos and Midway have all signed exclusive in-game advertising deals with major advertising company, DoubleFusion.
This means that we can all expect to see some high profile product placement and promotions in a number of upcoming titles from the aforementioned publishers.
Does this also mean that we are likely to see Conan wearing ‘Nike Air’ CrushBoots? Or could we see Sonic drinking Mountain Dew?
Trophies, in their current iteration, do not work.
I realise that statement is a sweeping generalisation. It is meant to be. So go ahead and wipe the spattered coffee off of your screen and read on before spouting profanities at me and saying untoward things about my mother. I already know she is fat.
Gaming addicts are far less common than people think. Apparently you need to display a number of the following criteria in order to be considered a potential addict. Click through for the skinny on the signs and find out if you class as an addict.
An enlightened few on the team at PS3 Attitude (Kawaii, MeEdIC and me, Phreaky) have

It’s the first day of the new PS3 Attitude. What better time to bring you the first ever ‘team review’. In this edition, Phreaky and DolphGB take BioShock to task. Is this really the big daddy of all games, or is it more like your little sister?
