With the Formula One season approaching its climax with only three races remaining, we take a look at F1 2010, the motorsport’s return to our consoles after just over three years away.

F1 2010 is the first time Codemasters’ has been in the driving seat for the series, and with racing fans having to wait so long to see their favourite sport back in their control, these guys have a lot of expectations resting on their shoulders.

With the film’s popular following even to this day, does the game live up to the big name? Well not exactly.

Heavy Rain is due to get a free patch in a few weeks to add Move support. At the same time, Sony will also be releasing a new Heavy Rain: Move Edition.

However it has been revealed that this edition will contain more than just a free feature.

After the recent release of Mafia 2, 2K Czech are now focusing their attention on another title, Top Spin 4.

They have now announced the next iteration of the series with a scheduled release sometime next year.

Enslaved: Journey to the West, Ninja Theory’s first game since the PlayStation 3 exclusive Heavenly Sword, has gone gold and is due for release in Europe on the 8th of October.

It doesn’t seem that long ago since we finally got our hands on Killzone 2, but today it was announced exactly when North Americans can pick up Killzone 3.

From our early hands-on with the title, we can tell you that Top Gun is a fun game to play. It released in North America a few weeks ago, and you may remember that we spoke to scriptwriter Jack Epps Jr, and confirmed the list of trophies recently too.

Today Paramount Digital Interactive confirmed the release date and prices for this well praised title in Europe.

The PlayStation 3 already supports 3D gaming with titles such as WipEout HD and Motorstorm 3D Rift, but it as of yet doesn’t support 3D movies on Blu-ray discs.

However, next month that is about to change as Sony has confirmed at IFA 2010 that the Blu-ray 3D update for movies will be released in October so you can watch titles such as Avatar or Toy Story 3 in 3D.

The PS3 is not just a gaming system, it’s a hub for media entertainment. Today it was announced that another service will be releasing on the platform in the future.

Music Unlimited is a cloud-based music streaming service that will be available on the PS3, BRAVIA TVs, Sony Blu-ray players and more. It’s powered by Qriocity, Sony’s non-PlayStation online entertainment portal.
