One thing is for sure; when it comes to creating LittleBigPlanet content, I’m a newbie.
And when I see levels like Ultimate Pinball Challenge – created by the obviously talented UrbanDevil – it makes me wonder if I will ever generate anything that even comes close to ‘downright average’, let alone ‘ultimate’.
The best thing to do? Let everyone else keep coming up with awesome levels like this one and then play the field…
If you’re struggling to find the most inventive levels, don’t forget to swing by the MM blog for their weekly picks. That is, after all, where we found Mr. Devil’s moment of genius. (video after the jump)
F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin demo will be available to all PSN users next week. The demo features the city of Auburn now laid waste after Alma’s little hissy fit in the first game. The full game launches in just over three weeks so the demo should convince those on the fence whether or not F.E.A.R. is worthy of a purcahse. Or not.
A very quick reminder that the Prince of Persia Charity Auction will close tomorrow, 17th January at 17:25 UK time.
This is your last ever opportunity to own the incredible prize pack – including that 1 in 200 art print of the Prince – and help us raise more funds for our supported cause.
Even if you’re not bidding, please take a few moments to tell all your friends about it – thanks for anything you can do to help spread the word…
The PS3 browser has always done a pretty good job of showing YouTube videos, especially since YouTube themselves started supporting 720p resolution.
But that is all about to get a lot better.
Hideo Kojima talks about the current state of the Japanese game industry whilst announcing his intentions of working on four games, one of which will be announced very soon.
Killzone 2 is one of those titles that is making us all very excited.
Whilst you’ll have to wait for PS3 Attitude’s review and hands-on impressions, PlayStation Official Magazine UK have weighed in with their review, and it doesn’t disappoint.
“Dear Square Enix; I’m confused. And if I’m confused then maybe others are confused. And confusion – let me remind you – is the enemy of game sales.
You see, you have so many RPG titles coming out in 2009 for the PlayStation 3, I really don’t know which way to turn and what to buy…”
Sony Ericsson was good enough to allow PS3 Attitude special access to the C905 phone over the Christmas period so we could exclusively try out its PS3 integration features.
Read on to discover why, if you’re a PS3 owner, you might want to consider getting your hands on one of these 8 megapixel superphones. Since you’re all nice people, we’ll even reveal some new features that are coming soon to the C905.
The most awesome thing happened this week, and everyone will benefit because of one reader’s kindness.
You’ll remember we had three Prince of Persia prize packs available to win before Christmas. You may also remember we had a fourth pack available in our charity auction, which closed on January 2nd 2009.
Reader and winner of one of the original three packs, Simon White from the UK, was so inspired by our cause he instructed us to keep hold of his prize and put it up for another charity auction.
Here’s a few shiny new shots of Cammy – both arty-farty action drawings and spiffingly exciting in-game shots.
Who are you looking forward to getting to grips with most? (Ahem)
Hollands’ Official PlayStation Magazine reveal that they’re off to Hollywood to get a look at a new PS3 exclusive not yet officially announced to the media. What could it be? Is it the fabled BBC Reporter game? L.A. Noire stays PS3 exclusive? Is it the other Rockstar game? We’ll have to wait and see.
We haven’t just been sitting, eating, drinking and playing games whilst the Christmas period came and went. Although if truth be told, that is what we did most of the time.
In the few spare moments we had, we made some small changes to PS3 Attitude that we think you’ll like.
Edge Magazine get a look at the early build of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Want to know what Drake is after this time? Read on.
You’ll remember we ran a competition recently where three of our lucky readers won an awesome Prince of Persia prize pack.
The pack included a copy of the game, a limited edition numbered print and many more collectors items.
Now you all have a chance to own this prize pack for yourself, whilst raising much needed funds for the PS3 Attitude Charity Fund.
Free Radical Design, creators of the Timesplitters franchise and the much (and unfairly) maligned Haze announce today that, after a fruitless search for a new investor, they will be closing their doors for good.
Namco and Sony announced that Keita Takahasi’s latest creation is scheduled to visit Europe in the first months of 2009. Takahasi’s previous work – he’s the creator of the Katamari series – gives us hope that Noby Noby Boy will be an excellent addition to the PSN games list.
As promised, it is now time to feature the winners of our two biggest categories in the PS3 Attitude Awards for 2008.
First up we have the recipient of Game of the Year. You’ll remember that the nominees for this award were decided through an internal poll of the PS3 Attitude team. You then voted in your thousands to decide on the winner, with all titles being chosen from the release period between 1st December 2007 and 30th November 2008.
The Developer’s Choice Award is different. We talked to a panel of gaming luminaries and asked them directly; what was your favourite PS3 game of the year.
Today is the big day. It is time to reveal who you voted as the winners of our PS3 Attitude Awards for 2008.
Each category was littered with quality titles and companies that had a release on the PlayStation 3 between 1st December 2007 and 30th November 2008.
You voted in your thousands in every category (thank you so much), so let’s get started with your winners…
