If it weren’t for the inclusion (and Rock Band debut) of Snow Patrol, this would have been an all 70′s classic rock track pack. James Gang, Jethro Tull and Deep Purple come back from the past with tracks dating from 1970, 1971 and 1972 respectively. Neat huh?
So after rolling out of the unmade bed that is Christmas and landing with a thud on the thin end of 2009, we have to do two things. Firstly, we have to take stock. Looking back at 2008, it is clear that us PS3 Attitudees had a great year. With the likes of LBP and MGS4, we can’t surely expect 2009 to be as good.

I am not a fan of baseball and my last baseball gaming experience is easily described with a three-lettered console and a two-worded game: NES and Bases Loaded. So why am I actually (kind of) looking forward to MLB 09: The Show’s recently announced Spring 2009 release?

Merry Christmas! If you don’t celebrate Christmas then you are missing out on tons of free gifts and should reconsider. Thanks to us gift recipients we PS3 fans have this early PlayStation Store update, so it can’t be all that bad.
So: Was I the only one who waited with bated breath for the MGS pack to go live on the EU store? Apparently not. A post has appeared over on the PlayStation Forums announcing that we here in Europe will not see the MGS pack for LittleBigPlanet today.
Just a few days before the end of 2008, the X-mas spirit seems to be affecting gamers. Love is in the air and that shows from LittleBIGPlanet’s sales. For second consecutive week, Media Molecule’s masterpiece remains at the top. But, did we have any realignments in the rest of the top 10?
Let’s find out in Chart Track’s UK charts for week ending 20 December 2008…
