Over on the PS blog, Sony has announced the next game in the Uncharted franchise. It’s called Uncharted: Fight for Fortune, and is an ‘action-adventure turn-based card game’ for the PS Vita. And no, we’re not joking.

FuturLab, a small studio based in Brighton, was propelled to the forefront of independent game development in the UK, after the breakout success of their PS minis title, Velocity.

Since then, they’ve been one of PS3 Attitude’s favourite developers. We’re therefore delighted that James Marsden, founder and Managing Director of FuturLab, took some time to chat to us about their games, PlayStation Mobile, and what’s next for the studio.

First announced at E3, Sony has revealed that PlayStation Plus will be coming to the PS Vita next week on November 19th alongside system update 2.00. Like the PS3, the Vita version of Plus will have its own Instant Game Collection that will include Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush, and more.

UK developer Big Head Games is no stranger to the PlayStation Network. They’re the talented team behind 2008′s puzzler Elefunk and 2012′s International Snooker. Big Head Games’ latest title is ZooZooGo!, a new twist on the classic match 3 puzzle games.

PS3 Attitude had the chance to talk with Dave Vout, Director at Big Head Games, where he gives us the rundown on ZooZooGo! and what it’s like developing for PlayStation Mobile.

Developed by Climax and Sony’s XDev studio, Smart As is a brand new puzzle game, most easily described as the Vita’s answer to Nintendo’s Brain Age series. Don’t hold that against it though, because Smart As is far more than a lazy clone of a six year old game. The title uses all the console’s features to create an experience that is only possible on Vita; but is it worth buying?
