Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has officially been announced worldwide on the Call of Duty website.

Set in 2025, the reveal trailer depicts a near future war with near future technology and near future hovering airplanes. This may be considerably out of reach by current aircraft design, although the quadrotor, or quadricopter, is currently available for iOS and Android devices. Is this the future of warfare?

Chances are you missed StarDrone when it slipped quietly on to the PS Store in March last year. It’s now lost somewhere in the store’s labyrinth of menus alongside other missing low-priced puzzle games.

You can easily dismiss Drone as just another twin-stick shooter in the same vein as the fine Super Stardust, if you only give it a brief superficial glance. But that’s not how it plays – not even close. Your ship doesn’t have guns; it doesn’t even have a propulsion system.

Ed Boon and Mortal Kombat fans the world over are celebrating the one-year anniversary of the release of Mortal Kombat. Yes. It’s been a year since the series returned to PlayStation.

Mortal Kombat launched on 19 April 2011 in North America and on 21 April in Europe, almost three years on from MK vs. DC. It arrived at launch sporting 28 characters on the disc, including Kratos as a PlayStation exclusive and four more as downloadable content.

LittleBigPlanet is taking its Play, Create, Share model to the race tracks with LittleBigPlanet Karting, Media Molecule announced today.

The company is teaming up with United Front Games, the folks behind ModNation Racers, to put Sackboy and friends behind the wheel of their very own racing kart. The game will feature the same customization tools familiar to the LPB community and will hopefully please racing audiences as well.
