Believe it or not, the PlayStation 3 was released nearly four years ago, and since then the console has been graced with hundreds of great titles. Therefore, we at PS3 Attitude thought we’d take some time to pay tribute to the people who create the games that make our mundane lives just that little bit more entertaining: the developers.

Alien Breed is a series developed by Team 17 that dates back to 1991. Since then, the long running top-down shooter franchise has received several sequels. Alien Breed: Impact is an updated version of a game originally released for the XBLA in December 2009.

In July we got hold of the first shots of a remake of the classic, Alien Breed.
Not content with just getting only the latest screens, we contacted Team 17 – the people behind the project – to squeeze out as much info about the game as we could.
It looks like the aliens have been busy in the baby making department as a whole new breed has spawned thanks to the folks over at Team17. The upcoming Alien Breed Evolution is a remake of the classic game originally released on the Amiga in 1991.
The game will feature fast paced action via single player and co-op. You must navigate your way through corridors and hallways in search of the lift down to the next level, all the while blasting though enemy aliens.
