It doesn’t feel long ago at all that Assassin’s Creed III came out – maybe because it only released October 2012 – and now Ubisoft are prepping for the latest addition to the series dubbed Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
Is Assassin’s Creed fatigue setting in or can this new, pirate themed installment refresh the series?
Ubisoft today confirmed that the next title in the Assassin’s Creed franchise will be called Assassin’s Creed IV: black Flag and revealed the first piece of promotional artwork from the game. It features a new assassin dressed in the familiar white hood brandishing a flintlock pistol and cutlass.
And so it’s all come down to this; the nominees for PS3 Attitude’s ‘PS3 Game of the Year 2013’!

It has to said that Ubisoft had a terrific conference at E3. This was partly because it was presented by comedienne Aisha Tyler, but mainly because the company has arguably the strongest lineup of games of all third-party publishers.
With blockbuster titles like Assassin’s Creed III, Far Cry 3, and the newly announced Watch Dogs, Ubisoft fans have a lot to look forward to over the next year and beyond. So, let’s get cracking with the trailers, shall we?
