2K Games has announced that BioShock Infiite will miss its scheduled October release to instead hit stores on 26 February 2013. This unfortunately is a big blow for Stefhutch20, Majiesto and myself, because we all included Infinite in our hottest PS3 games of 2012 list. That’ll teach us not to learn lessons from previous BioShock delays.

Heavy Hitters is a new series of videos that showcase the many enemies protagonist Booker DeWitt will encounter in the city of Columbia. In the first video, creative director Ken Levine, art director Nate Wells and lead artist Shawn Robertson introduce us to the Motorized Patriot, a “clockwork terminator” that will just keep coming at you no matter what.

2011 was a real corker for the PlayStation 3. And for PS3 Attitude too. We got up to all sorts of shenanigans over the last twelve months, and some of us still have the bruises to prove it.
But this isn’t going to be one of those lame retrospective list articles that counts down our favourite moments from the last year. Oh no. This is 2012. This is about what comes next.

Spike’s annual Video Game Awards is tonight and it promises us an evening of exciting announcements and trailers.
The event will have preview trailers for Metal Gear Rising, BioShock: Infinite, The Amazing Spider-Man and Rainbow Six: Patriots. We can also expect an announcement from EPIC Games, BioWare and a PS3 world premiere exclusive, The Last of Us.
Roughly a week ago Irrational Games gave us a taste of their BioShock Infinite E3 demo which was shown exclusively to those in attendance. Thankfully Ken Levine, creative director on BioShock Infinite, promised to later unveil the entire 15 minute demonstration to the public.

Post E3, Irrational Games’ BioShock Infinite has scooped 75 editorial awards, including the coveted Game Critics Award for ‘Game of Show’. But what have the press been shown behind closed doors to generate such levels of enthusiasm?

At this year’s E3, 46,800 industry professionals, journalists, retailers and analysts arrived in LA to experience the videogame industry’s biggest event of the year, and with over 200 exhibitors promoting their latest games and hardware, this year was arguably the biggest ever.
We cannot offer you a complete guide to E3 2011 (that would require writing a book), but we can give you this neat list featuring 10 thing that caught our attention during this year’s show. We had great games and impressive hardware on show and a lot of stuff happening in-between. Enjoy.
