Earlier this week, SCE Studio Liverpool became the latest in a long line of developers to unfortunately close their doors. It’s no secret that the videogame industry has been hit extremely hard by the global recession in recent years, so PS3 Attitude thought we’d take some time to remember five of our favourite development studios that are sadly no longer with us.
Believe it or not, the PlayStation 3 was released nearly four years ago, and since then the console has been graced with hundreds of great titles. Bizarre Creations have sent out a video explaining some of the features of their latest racing-game, Blur.

But Blur offers a bit more than just straight up racing, you can bully your way to the front of the pack by barging, shunting and shocking the competition.
We could literally post up article after endless article offering new media of future titles, there’s so many, so we’re trying to cherry-pick the ones that really stand out, choosing the eye-catching videos that we think you might be interested in.
Case in point: this is Blur.
Promising to bring the “fun” back to the racing genre, Bizarre Creations have released a teaser trailer over at C&VG for their upcoming racer Blur.
The footage is a mere shiny precursor of what the game will offer and shows off just one of the fantastical weapons available to players as they quest to beat the clock and – more importantly – the opposition.
Now that Bizarre Creations are snugly under the wing of Activision, the boys from Liverpool have left their Project Gotham Racing past behind them and are moving on to new projects.
Having already delivered the tad limited yet well received “The Club” last year, it appears the guys haven’t been able to shake the racing bug and are returning to the genre with Blur.
