The release of the much anticipated shooter may yet be a couple weeks away but that’s not going to stop us from taking a look at the official launch trailer now will it?

Activision’s got the answer, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. A yet even purer action experience for those of us that need a little something extra get their fix these days.
When it comes to videogames, the Call of Duty franchise reigns supreme. Whenever a new game is release, it shatters records, not just for games but for the entire entertainment industry. This is why the upcoming Modern Warfare 3 is such a big deal. We were able to get a firsthand look at some gameplay during E3; exploring just a few of the missions you’ll be tasked with.
Call of Duty used to shock gamers with its nuclear sized surprises and intense, action-packed gameplay; however, the series has become very formulaic, due to the number of sequels and the dead-end nature of escalation.
Everyone knows what to expect from Modern Warfare 3: you’ll face more soldiers, get knocked over by more blasts, be funnelled down more corridors and there’ll be even more on-rails sections. It’s so predictable, but people still get excited about new Call of Duty games, including us. That’s just the CoD phenomenon.
Last week Infinity Ward released a set of four teasers for their upcoming shooter. War hit the streets of America, France, Germany and England.
Teasers are great but they pale in comparison to actual gameplay footage.
The online layoff has been difficult for gamers of all types but perhaps the group most anxious to get back to business as usual are fans of online shooters.

Nuketown – Call of Duty: Black Ops’ small multiplayer map, based on a suburban nuclear testing area – has divided opinion across the net and on PS3 Attitude. There’s no doubt that it has a flawed spawn system, which will see you repeatedly die (through no fault of your own), but that hasn’t stopped gamers from voting for it again and again. It is by far the most popular map on Black Ops – but is popularity an accurate measure of quality? After all, just look at some of the nonsense that tops the film and music charts.

The yearly Call of Duty release is upon us again, which can only mean one thing – it’s time for us all to start questioning whether this is finally the year that people start getting sick of Call of Duty. We can’t speak for everyone but after putting a hefty amount of time in to Call of Duty: Black Ops, we can at least share our opinion. So what do we think?

But for those of you who like to escape the daily grind through video games, there’s a new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops that might just grab your attention.
Information on Call of Duty: Black Ops seems to come in waves these days. We’ll get something about the campaign, then we’ll get something on multiplayer and then we get something on the zombies game mode, and the cycle repeats. With this new trailer, it seems to be the campaign’s turn again. Come inside to check it out.
The list of Sony’s first-party lineup that will be supporting 3D is quite impressive. On the other hand, the number on multiplatform games that will support it is pretty small. The list isn’t necessarily about to grow leaps and bounds but there is one major game that will certainly move to the top.
With all this talk about Medal of Honor it has been easy to forget about that other big military shooter, call of Duty: Black Ops. Treyarch is putting their game back in the map with week with the talk about Nazi Zombies (although specific details have kept us from reporting it) and a new customization video.
