Welcome to our first ever Search, Win, and Gloat Competition, also known as SWAG.
In our recent trip to visit a little expo named E3, we were able to get our hands on some goodies and what better thing to do than pass them on to our readers. Right? Of course!
Along with the many press conferences, game demos, and free t-shirts of E3, there is one more thing that seems to be missing from our coverage. Booth Babes! Yes, we were able to get some pictures of the glorious ladies of the convention (and a few dudes as well). Our favorites are the Ninja Gaiden chicks and Bayonetta. Check out the full gallery after the jump, along with all the other pictures from our experience at E3 2009.
June 2009 marks a historic moment for PS3 Attitude. It was the first of what we hope to be many E3’s to be covered live from the Los Angeles Convention Center. Over the course of four days, we would cover three different press conferences, multiple booth tours and live demos, and who know’s how many crossings from the South Hall to the West Hall, not to mention the meeting rooms upstairs. There were both ups and downs, good games and bad, but overall, it was an experience like no other.
Join us as we recap some of our favorite (and least favorite) moments of E3 2009 along with some never before seen pictures taken by yours truly…
We told you about the upcoming Fury Pack that would be hitting the PSN this summer and that it would be playable at E3. Well, we were able to find the game tucked away in a corner of the Sony booth. It looked a little lonely with no one around playing with it so we took up the controller and gave it a go.
We tried out all three new modes, Elimination, Zone Battle, and Detonator along with a few of the new ships and tracks. This expansion focuses on the warfare and destruction aspect, more so than actual racing.
Dante’s Inferno is a game that has captured our attention since it was first announced. We were able to get a first look at gameplay from the upcoming hack and slash title based on the epic poem by Dante Alighieri. You will travel through the nine circles of Hell in order to save the soul of your love, Beatrice, from the clutches of Lucifer himself. Travel to Hell with us as we explore two of the circles, Limbo and Anger.
The highly anticipated God of War III made is playable debut at E3 and we had a chance to sit down and play with Kratos in all his HD glory. What we demoed was an extended version of what was played at the Sony Press Conference. It is filled with the undead, huge monsters, and gods. It is the epitome of Kratos’ adventure and everything we have come to expect from Sony.
It looks like the recently announced Xbox 360 exclusive song for Beatles Rock Band, “All You Need Is Love,” is not so exclusive after all. In speaking with Jeff Castaneda of MTV Games, PS3 Attitude asked if the PlayStation 3 would be seeing any love. Instead of the usual ‘no comment’ we expected, we were actually surprised by what he said…
EA had quite the showing during their press conference yesterday. It was filled with trailers, guest appearances, and live demos. In case you missed it, we live blogged the event straight from the audience. Here’s a quick recap of the announcements made…
Ubisoft is sure to be a hit this E3. We have Assassin’s Creed 2 and Beyond Good and Evil 2 to look forward to. We’re here in downtown LA waiting for it to begin. Will we be seeing Jade Raymond on the stage today? We most certainly think so. So join us as we live blog the Ubisoft E3 09 Press Conference.
Welcome to the first of many Live Blog events of E3 09! EA is about to begin their presentation here at The Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. Some of the games we expect to …
Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time is set to land on the PS3 at the end of this year and we at Attitude Towers are keeping a firm eye on how the game is progressing.
And so we were delighted when we heard (literally) that it is being hyped up to be even bigger than the previous Ratchet and Clank game on the PS3; Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction.
With E3 being less than a month away, expect to see a flutter of press releases coming from every direction. Sony have done us the honor of releasing the list of games they will be bringing to this years convention.
There really are no surprises in what we see. What will surprise us, though, are the secret and juicy games NOT on the list.
Square Enix has plans to release Final Fanatasy XIII, probably the most anticipated game to come out from the land of the rising sun this generation, within a year after the Japanese launch, which should arrive within the next twelve months.
In just a few short weeks, we are going to have one of the biggest E3’s in quite some time. Sony are limbering up for a showdown of epic proportions, and doubtless the competition are taking a similar stance.
What do we reckon is lurking up the longest sleeves of the highest SCE bigwig?
Sony plans to shift their focus on the casual market according to SCEA hardware marketing boss John Koller.
Speaking to VG247, he highlighted that they believe they have “captured the hardcore†market for the PS3.
E3 is less than two months away, and John Koller, the head of SCEA Hardware Marketing is very optimistic about the annual games convention in LA.
Last year amongst other things we saw the launch of the Video Store in North America, and Massive Action Game (MAG) get announced for the very first time. So how significant will this year’s be?
