Ghostbusters Patch Increases Resolution, Releases Trophies From Ecto-Containment Unit

We told you in our review that it wasn’t a game breaker, but most of you went and cried foul anyway about Ghostbusters’ resolution on the PS3 when compared to the Xbox 360 version. “We got effed in the a” was the general consensus of many a PS3 owner. Maybe there was some truth to that after all. Maybe.

LittleBigPlanet Ghostbusters costumes this week

Bordering on cuteness of an almost criminal level, four Ghostbusters themed costumes will be available for LittleBigPlanet this Thursday.

Priced at $1.99 each or $5.99 for the pack, fans of one of the greatest movies of the 80s (if not of all time) will soon be able to express this ectoplasmic love by decking their Sackboy out as either Slimer, the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, a Casper-esque ghost with signature sign or in an actual Ghostbusters jump-suit.

Ghostbusters; The (Single Player) PS3 Attitude Review

After years in the making and months of developmental uncertainty, we finally have the Ghostbusters game we didn’t know we wanted so badly. Back in 2006, Slovenian developer Zootfly lit the five alarm fire that had the internet in a frenzy over a next generation Ghostbusters video game. Sony realized that they had a potential hit on their hands; they just needed the right developer to make this game shine.

But how well can a 25 year old movie franchise translate to a next generation video game and more importantly, to a totally new audience? There are many questions surrounding Ghostbusters: The Video Game but the most important is this, who ya gonna call?

New Ghostbusters Video Ain’t Afraid Of No Multiplayer

Watch the new Ghostbusters trailer and get that 1980’s feeling in you. Never mind the readings on your PKE meter, that’s nostalgia filling up your body, not Slimer playing tricks on you.

The video features all new weapons, enemies and the icing on the cake: multiplayer. It also features a very menacing and not so cute looking Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, but we’re trying not to think about him anymore.

Sony to publish Ghostbusters; timed exclusivity confirmed

We still love Phil Harrison.

He might have jumped off the good ship Sony to fulfil a lifelong dream of heading up a studio but that doesn’t mean he isn’t able to put a smile on our collective faces around these PS3 themed parts.

Announced at the denouement of a Sony event in Sydney, Australia, Sony will help Atari publish and distribute the upcoming spectral infused Ghostbusters title.

Ghostbusters Rule 3: Split Up; Rule 3.1: Blow S#!% Up

Ghostbusters Rule 3: Split Up; Rule 3.1: Blow S#!% Up

Break out the Ecto-1 (or was it the Manhattan Spirit?) and get ready to…split up? Yup, according to this latest Ghostbusters “rules” video this is the best way to do more damage. The jury is still out on what gets damaged more, public property or unruly ghosts. We think it’s both.
