While some franchises simply refuse to go away, others seriously struggle to make the leap into multi-game territory. This can be for a number of reasons, but usually comes down to poor sales, regardless of how popular the game is among those who played it. This week, we’ve been discussing the likelihood of whether or not we’ll see a sequel to five of our favourite PS3 games.
Ah, Sixaxis. Remember that? Sony pushed this motion-sensing technology in a big way before the launch of the PS3, but then Lair came out and everyone decided it was the worst thing in the world. That said, there are some good uses of the Sixaxis out there, so let’s take some time to remember them; to be honest we initially struggled to get to five, but we got there in the end!

Over the next few weeks we’ll be revealing our one hundred favourite developers, and believe us when we say that there are some incredibly talented teams included. We’ve now revealed fifty developers in our mammoth list, and today we’re revealing another ten.
GameTrailers have uploaded the debut trailer for Ninja Theory’s new action-adventure, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. The clip is mostly a montage of action packed events, but it also gives us a feel for the potentialgameplay dynamics between Trip and Monkey.
The UK’s position as a world-leading developer of video games is under threat. For years it has been the third largest employer of development staff in the world, with the USA and Japan in first and second position, but recent times have seen the UK overtaken by the Canadian games industry.
This summer, Sony plan to roll out a patch that will allow the PS3 to produce stereoscopic 3D images, but Tameen Antoniades, co-founder of Ninja Theory – the team behind Heavenly Sword and the upcoming Enslaved – has warned that the quality will be “limited” this generation.
As we announced earlier, the St. Patrickâ€™s Day costume hit the PlayStation stores today. But that isnâ€™t the only slice of LittleBigPlanet content you will have available for you in the coming weeks.
Thatâ€™s right, Sony have announced a whole load of content that will be flying on the stores in North America and Europe.
