One of the big titles this year, inFAMOUS, is getting a permanent discount in the US to the price of just $39.99.
The game released in May follows Cole who gains some very special powers after an explosion across Empire City and he has to decide whether to use them for good or evil.
We are used to seeing superheroes from comics ripped out of the pages and put onto the big screen, but what about from games?
The big news is that Sony Pictures have signed up screenwriter Sheldon Turner to adapt inFAMOUS, the popular PS3 franchise, into a feature film.
LittleBigPlanet has been seeing a lot of costumes inspired by other PlayStation brands including Killzone 2 and Metal Gear, but Media Molecule have just announced a new set of costumes coming this week on the PlayStation Store.
Those of you who are inFAMOUS fans will be glad to hear that a couple of Cole outfits are coming your way to spread the love for the game towards LittleBigPlanet.

We’ll start this time with the massive European update. As we have said countless times before, we are big fans of Killzone 2 and so were really happy when Sony announced that a Visari Throne room apartment for PlayStation Home.
We like Sucker Punch (and inFAMOUS too!). Instead of pushing the numbers of on-screen pixels, frame rates per second, draw distances and all that technical jargon, we get numbers that really matter. Numbers that we can relate to.

It is 8 a.m. on the set of Stan Lee’s ‘Who Wants To Be A Superhero?’, and auditions are in full swing. One by one, regular members of the public appear with their superhero persona, backed up by a costumes made of plastic bags and a notion of the one thing that makes them better than you.
A super-power.
With a final PSN demo due this Thursday (we say final because we’ve already played two different versions over the last few weeks), Asad Qizilbash, SCEA’s Marketing Manager, has revealed on the official PS blog that the game will be getting a thirty second spot attached to the new Terminator Salvation movie from May 22nd to May 28th across the US.
And if that wasn’t enough, there’s also a four page comic to tide you over before its release in eight days.
inFAMOUS is less than two weeks away for those of you in North America, and so we expect many of you are pretty hyped up right now.

With E3 being less than a month away, expect to see a flutter of press releases coming from every direction. Sony have done us the honor of releasing the list of games they will be bringing to this years convention.
There really are no surprises in what we see. What will surprise us, though, are the secret and juicy games NOT on the list.
inFamous has long been a source of much discussion amongst the crew at Attitude Towers.
The heat was turned up yesterday afternoon when SCEE sent us the inFamous demo. After a longer than usual download thanks to a dodgy wireless router, we fired up the demo for the first time. 56 minutes and 7 seconds later we had the answer to a most burning question; is inFamous shockingly good, or did it fail to spark our imagination?
The European special edition of inFamous is set to land onto the PS3 on the 29th of May along side the regular edition.
We have now heard details on what is so special about the special edition.
Subscribers of the PlayStation Official Magazine in the UK received their latest edition in the post this morning, with the headline story being their review of forthcoming superhero-em-up, inFamous.
The review, which pitches inFamous as ’shockingly good’, runs across six pages of the June 2009 edition of the magazine, and features a number of useful hints and tips that will help players when the game hits our streets before the end of May.
On Monday we heard the exciting news that lucky North American gamers were getting treated to a beta for Uncharted 2’s multiplayer when purchasing a copy of inFamous.
At the time, there were no details for when people outside of NA were to hear a similar deal, or if the beta would be distributed via a different manner.
We have been hearing about what gamers in the United States will be treated to when they purchase a copy of inFamous when it goes on sale there on May 26th.
Unfortunately no such treat has been announced for Europe, however, guys in the UK do have a date to circle on the calendar in the kitchen!
We hinted about it. In fact, we knew about it, but we didn’t spill the beans until the guys over at Naughty Dog were prepared to do so first. That’s just how we roll here at PS3 Attitude.
Now that Evan Wells, Co-President at Naughty Dog, is blabbering uncontrollably about it, well – so will we.
Sony is teasing us today on what they call an ‘electrifying announcement’ on the 27th of April, which is a Monday.
This tease comes from one of the rotating banners on the North American PlayStation website.
Sucker Punch have decided that, as we’ve all waited patiently enough, inFamous will not be released in June as expected but is now due out in NA on May 26th.
And that’s not all. The guys have also revealed numerous pre-order bonuses that are on offer for early adopters. Do you want access to the demo two weeks before the rest of the gaming public? Are inFamous themed Home outfits your bag? What about an exclusive power unlocked within the game?
Coming up with the goods once again, IGN have delved into inFamous’ much lauded Karma system with a couple of videos to hammer home how the game’s morality mechanism works.
Though Sucker Punch’s new game’s good and evil dilemma was something hinted at in the past, it is only now that we get an indepth understanding of just how the choices in the game will affect the player’s journey through a devastated Empire City.
A new trailer for the upcoming PS3 exclusive inFAMOUS showcasing the electric powers of Cole McGrath, the hero or antihero of the game depending on the players actions.
Watch as he blows up cars, throws electrical bombs, and jumps around like Spider-Man, minus the spandex suit of course. Combine this with the vast world of Empire City and we imagine you’ll find plenty to do to pass the time. Check out the trailer after the jump…
