Prince of Persia, Resident Evil, Castlevania,; these are just a few of the upcoming film adaptations that are in the works and we have the latest news about them all. Want to see Jake Gyllenhaal as Prince Dastan? We have it. How about the status of Paul W.S. Anderson’s next Resident Evil movie? We have it. And the poster for the upcoming Metal Gear Sold? Well, we don’t have that but you can bet your PS3’s that we will when it’s released.

Iron Man 2 game to deviate from movie’s plot; Crimson Dynamo to feature

The problem with games based on movies (based on comics) is that the story of the new film quite often consists of a linear progression.

Trying to make a game around this fixed pattern can be a nightmare; especially when you consider the need for games to proffer almost constant interaction to gamers. Iron Man 2, a game (based on a movie, based on a comic) is not immune to this challenge – hence, when we do get our hands on Tony Stark and his robotic enhancements next time around, don’t expect it to religiously follow the plot of the new movie.

No, not the movie; the videogame. SEGA announced that Iron Man 2 is currently in production at SEGA Studios San Francisco and is expected to come out along with the Marvel Studios blockbuster sequel film of the same name in 2010.
