The Homerun is back to give you another dosage of PlayStation Home goodness. We’re delighted to say that there is a lot of new content for everyone this week!
We’ll start this time with the massive European update. As we have said countless times before, we are big fans of Killzone 2 and so were really happy when Sony announced that a Visari Throne room apartment for PlayStation Home.
E3 is not just about the video games and booth babes. There’s much more to it than that, after all, you can’t hear that sneaky Helghast sneak up without a decent surround sound system or execute a perfect head shot in Call of Duty 4 with simply a Dualshock 3? Sure, it can get the job done but you want to be the best out there, don’t you?
We had the chance to try out Tritton Technologies latest surround sound headset, the AX Pro, which brings the ultimate listening experience straight to your ears. In addition, we also tested SplitFish’s FragFX controller designed specifically for the PS3.

It’s a while ago now when we first heard about Killzone 2 getting its own taste of PlayStation Home, but we have heard no details on what it is exactly until now.
Guerrilla Games have posted a post on the European PlayStation Blog to announce a Killzone 2 Visari Throne Room apartment is coming to Sony’s virtual universe.
Killzone 2 has now been updated and next time you boot the game you should see a message telling you to download the latest patch.
You may remember that this patch was originally scheduled for last Thursday, then we heard that it had been delayed, well now the patch has seen the light of day.
We reported last week that Helghan exiles keen on some new Killzone 2 updates would enjoy a patch on Thursday. Sometimes even reliable sources slip up as the 1.27 Killzone 2 patch did not go live when expected.
