Final Fantasy would be ‘too exhausting’ with motion control

If you were holding out for Final Fantasy XIII to join the likes of LittleBigPlanet and Resident Evil in adopting motion control then you will be waiting a while.

Yoshinori Kitase, Final Fantasy’s producer told CVG that playing a game as long as Final Fantasy would be “too exhausting” for gamers.

Earlier we announced that Sony Computer Entertainment had dated their new Motion Controller (a provisional title) for release this autumn. With its release in sight, we contemplate whether the PS3 with motion sensing is a match made in gaming heaven or whether we should expect to be overrun by a deluge of lobotomy-inducing novelty games – as has arguably been the case with the Wii.

Gran Turismo 5 and LittleBigPlanet were also present in non-playable form. Gran Turismo 5 and Super Stardust HD have already been shown at CES, so there was nothing more to say about those games.

Well the news had already leaked out thanks to the PlayStation Network trophies, but it is now official that LittleBigPlanet will be getting pirate Sackboys !

Media Molecule has announced the Pirates of the Caribbean Premium Level Kit and costume pack for release on the 22nd of December.

We’re big fans of the original Watchmen comic book series by Alan Moore here at Attitude Towers. Whilst we thought the Zack Snyder movie was great, we didn’t have a lot of love for the recent PSN game.
