For the last three weeks we’ve been running a competition for our most coveted prize ever – an uber-rare LittleBigPlanet Golden Crown for the winner’s Sackperson to wear within the game.
We’ve been blown away by all the entries – over 100 designs of every possible type – and we take our collective hats off to all those people that entered the competition. You have truly amazed us with your brilliance.
But there can be only one winner, and the time has come to announce who we’re ‘crowning’ as the designer of the new Official PS3A Sackboy.
One of the largest additions to the wonderful world of LittleBigPlanet, water is about to make its debut as part of a recently announced DLC kit.
Of course, such a monumental enhancement is not something you introduce without some stringent testing. Hence, open to all, Media Molecule are now inviting LittleBigPlaneters to sign up for the Water beta.
If the recent Game of the Year edition wasn’t enough for you (in NA, the EU doesn’t appear to be getting it), check out what promises to be the next big thing to hit LittleBigPlanet. Water.

Among others, there’s Marvel Super Hero Squad (for the kids), Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 (for Stan Lee fans) and Iron Man 2 (for people convinced the sequel can’t be as bad as the first game) so it’s no surprise to see Marvel promoting their upcoming wares in as many ways as super-humanly possible.
