A new firmware turned up this morning, and on the face of it the update doesn’t appear to do much. But is the update related to LittleBigPlanet in some way?

Talking at GameCity in Nottingham today, Alex Evans was asked about the lack of image import in LittleBigPlanet.
The news? He confirmed that this was only pulled from the release of the game because of time constraints, and that the image import tool would be released by Christmas.
After a short delay and 3 updates later, we finally have our hands on the game we’ve been craving for oh so long. Yes, I’m talking about LittleBigPlanet here and let me tell you, there is nothing little about this game… well, except for the adorable little Sackboy we love so much.
Like Sackboy? Like monkeys? Are you in Japan!?! Ah well, two out of three isn’t bad. Check out this new LittleBigPlanet costume which will be on offer in the Land of the Rising Sun for early adopters of the game.
