Game Group today announced a partnership with SCEE to release PS3 titles, DLC and subscriptions to the PSN in the company’s Game and Gamestation stores.
Believe it or not, the PlayStation 3 was released nearly four years ago, and since then the console has been graced with hundreds of great titles. Therefore, we at PS3 Attitude thought we’d take some time to pay tribute to the people who create the games that make our mundane lives just that little bit more entertaining: the developers.
Over the last ten weeks we’ve been revealing our one hundred favourite developers, and we think you’ll agree we’ve included some incredibly talented teams. We’ve now revealed ninety developers in our mammoth list, and today we’re revealing the final ten!

The massive 2.0 patch for MAG is now live. Adding an incredible number of new features and improvements, the update is now available to download the next time you boot up the game.

It was only briefly mentioned in the Sony conference at Gamescom, but was confirmed later on the game’s blog, that MAG will be getting Move support in the Autumn. Zipper promises that ‘Pinpoint accuracy and easy access to all of the game’s mechanics ensure that players of any type — be they hardened veterans or new recruits — can enjoy a shooting experience unlike any other’.
But that’s not all. It was also announced on the MAG blog that a new beta for several new features will be available to all existing MAG players next week.
Zipper continue to support their MMO title MAG, and today a brand new patch has been released worldwide.
This patch is quite a major one as it comes packed with new tweaks such as new lighting effects and changes to a couple of the maps.
It seems like just last week that Zipper brought us a cool update… oh wait, it was. Regardless, they’re bringing another and it’s even bigger than the previous.
So what’s in this update and when does it go live?
Zipper has been trying their hardest to continue giving players more reasons to keep coming back, and between new guns and armor as well as a new game-type, they’ve done a pretty good job.
Now, they’ve given us another reason to play what is literally the ‘biggest’ console shooter of all time.
We’ve been drooling in anticipation for weeks, but now Zipper have finally announced the first expansion pack for MAG will it satiate our content-lust?

MAG will be getting another massive patch in June that will not only improve gameplay but also add the ability to purchase DLC in-game for those without access to the PSN Store.

Zipper Interactive is about to set off the same reaction in us with a megaton MAG announcement that is scheduled before E3. This game just keeps getting better!
MAG was recently updated to version 1.05 but that isn’t enough for the fine folks over at Zipper Interactive. Today they’ve announced that on April 29th, MAG will be receiving some FREE downloadable content.
The Fast Attack Gear Pack, aside from having an awesome sounding name, will provide extra support for those who like to take time and line up your shots. Yes, we’re talking to all you snipers out there.
Zipper’s support of MAG continues as they announce patch V1.05 coming this Monday, 19th April at 1am Pacific/ 4am Eastern/ 9am GMT.
Normal rules apply – just boot up the game and follow the download instructions. The patch weighs in at about 40mb.
Oh Zipper you do spoil us.
Regular readers of PS3 Attitude will know how highly we rate MAG – so much so that we dedicated two reviews and several weeks of play testing to it.
The game seems to have inspired that level of drive in quite a few people now, and these hardcore followers are desperate to have any sort of edge on their opponent.
Well happy days, because Zipper has a hi-res present for you.

You may think it strange that PS3 Attitude is reviewing MAG now. After all – wasn’t this game released back in January? Old hat surely.
Well, as we mentioned in our (p)review (or Review part 1, if you will) a few weeks ago, MAG is an ever evolving game. We saw it’s potential and recognised what Zipper Interactive was trying to achieve, and as such decided to play test the game for several weeks to really give you an idea of what MAG is about, and to do the game justice.
This will be no five hour ’7 out of 10′ review – this will be the combined thoughts of Team Attitude who have dedicated a vast amount of time to what surely must be one of the great online games.
