Welcome to the final week of MAG Monday. As such, this week will be all about Team Attitude’s thoughts on their time with MAG, in time for the second part of our review.
Welcome to our monthly feature were we tell the world what’s been happening over the last month at PS3 Attitude.
Welcome to MAG Monday week 4. The game certainly seems to have found favour with a great deal of you, with reports of multiple level 50 plus characters. With people levelling up so fast, will MAG be needing some DLC sooner than expected?
MAG will be receiving its second title update come tomorrow, February 25th. Whether you’re S.V.E.R., Raven, or Valor, no one can escape the patch.
A brief overview of patch v1.03 reveals weapon updates to make them more effective and realistic in range firing. In addition exploits will be shut down and setting/diffusing charges will receive a makeover. To see the full list of what’s included, hit the jump.
Welcome to MAG Monday week 3. It’s a good time to be involved with MAG’s online community, as after only five days on sale the game managed to come in thirteenth in the all formats chart.
Do good sales equal a good experience? As always, Team Attitude is here with our thoughts.
There’s a certain tension in the air here at Attitude Towers. The normally carefree (or slightly bizarre in the case of Danny_D) banter has been replaced by hushed, worried whispers.
You see, there are Kittens in the Tower today. This generally wouldn’t be any cause for concern – kittens are cute right?
But these kittens have a penchant for shooting, and routinely sharpen their claws – step forward the Kamikaze Kittens.
The NPD Group has released it’s top twenty all formats chart, and we are happy to see that Team Attitude favourite- MAG – has faired well, especially when you see some of the big names that have charted below it.
Welcome to MAG Monday week 2. This is quite an important week for MAG, as people should now know whether or not this is the online game for them. So will the servers be empty? Or has MAG won our hearts – despite poor supply from retailers.
As always, Team Attitude are here to give our thoughts.
I’m normally not a big fan of online multiplayer, but after reading our awesome MAG Monday feature, I was encouraged to give MAG a shot. However, just getting hold of a copy proved to be a bit of a mission in itself, as it seems a lot of stores are currently out of stock.
Welcome to the inaugural edition of ‘MAG Monday’. Team Attitude are big fans of Zipper Interactive’s latest game – MAG. However, there are a suspicious amount of very similar reviews out there which always seem to end up with a 70% mark at the end. Can an ever evolving online game be reviewed after just a few hours? We think not.
DolphGB, Brodiesan and Folken24 will each be making weekly reports from the battlefield – comparing likes, dislikes and anything humorous that may have occurred. This will hopefully give you a flavour of what the game is all about.
Enjoying MAG? We hope so. Well if you have been experiencing problems playing the game, a new patch that arrived today is supposed to fix your problems.
v1.01a, amongst other things, improves the visual quality of the skies above you when in a game, preventing artifacts from being found up there.
In what we consider to be a bold (or crazy) move, Ben Jones of Zipper Interactive has made the comment that he thinks the crowd on Xbox Live are more juvenile than those who frequent the PSN.
Last week, as many of you following the #MAG256 tag on Twitter will know (and if you’re not following @PS3Attitude, now would be a good time to do so), we and 127 other gamers were invited to try out MAG.
A mixture of journalists and community members battled it out through the day, leading up to a 256-player match against Zipper, the developers behind the new FPS on the block.
Whilst we received our review copy of the game the very next day, the servers to allow play weren’t switched on at the time, so we have decided to do something a little different with our MAG review.
Sony has today announced the release dates for MAG in Europe, Australia & New Zealand, and the UK.
The 256-player MMO first-person shooter is set to land in most of Europe on the 27th of January.
Now that MAG is open to everyone and their 255 friend-killing grandma, Zipper have been inundated with new bugs, crazy issues, strange glitches and a whole host of other technical stuff we’re sure is keeping them up late at night.
Speaking over on the official MAG blog, Zipper’s Jeremy Dunham has come out and thanked everyone for their invaluable input while also explaining just what that pesky 10.4 error actually means.
In case you have forgotten, the MAG open beta has gone live today around the world.
For many of you this will be your first chance to give this new MMO a try before it releases at the end of the month.
In celebration of MAG going gold in North America, Japan, Korea, and the rest of Asia, Zipper Interactive have announced that Beta 5 will be available to everyone everywhere beginning January 4th.
What makes Beta 5 so special is that no longer are warzones confined to a single country. No, the beta has gone global. Prepare for world domination in 64 and 256 player carnage.
It may have crippled your download cap (if you have a download cap that is) but if you managed to snag a MAG beta code then we’re hoping you enjoyed your brief time with the 256 player super-shooter.
By the look of the statistics revealed on the Official US PlayStation blog, it would appear so.
For those of you enjoying the fast-paced squad-based online experience in MAG and were upset that the current beta has expired, rejoice! Zipper have extended the current beta deadline.
Popping up over on the Official MAG Developer blog, Jeremy Dunham has announced that the current beta, originally scheduled to end on November 20th, will now be officially extended into next week.
