The biggest fighting game tournament just got bigger!
Electronic Entertainment Expo – better known as E3 – is the biggest date on the gaming calendar. The event was as big as ever this year and, unsurprisingly, it stole our attention for the best part of June. All the leading publishers were there promoting upcoming titles, hoping that they could impress us journalists enough so that we would enthuse about their projects to you. There is a lot of enthusing to be done.
Capcom is gonna take you for a ride!
Capcom just released eight screenshots of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 in action. Prepare to be amazed.

Capcom also teases that there will be a big announcement coming in April…
Earlier this year the Street Fighter IV FightSticks and FightPads made a huge impact and sold incredibly well and were highly praised. Due to that success, a second wave of SFIV peripherals are to be released.
A Marvel vs Capcom 2 TE FightStick was rumored to be in the making, and it was officially announced in September. The arcade stick is now available to purchase at GameStop.
MvC2 had a few issues that needed to be fixed that weren’t noticed until the game finally came out. A patch is now available and it addresses some major bugs.
Before the Street Fighter IVs and the BlazBlues, there was a little game on the Dreamcast called Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes.
Even to this day, MvC2 is still played in tournaments across the country, and copies are sold on eBay for ridiculous amounts.
Thankfully you no longer have to give an arm and a leg to play this wonderful game…
Iron Man: Avenger. Hero. Drunk. Mega Man: Wily. Hero. Blue. Who’d win in a fight to the robotic death?
It looks like we’re about to finally settle the cyborg-score with Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 coming up next month.
In the mean time, check out some new screens just released of the two robotically enhanced super-heroes setting their blasters on (unlikely to be) stun.
With an XBL release already slated, superhero and hadoken fans alike were getting a little worried that Capcom had forgotten about us little ole PSN users.
Slightly later than expected, we can now confirm that the popular 2D fighter will shoryuken its way on to the PSN on August 13th.
One of the best things about the numerous “Vs” games that pop up in gaming is how we get to see face-offs between some of the most unlikely of adversaries. And if they’re not unlikely, then they’re usually imbalanced.
For instance, who hasn’t looked on at the boyish Ryu, hadokens and everything, about to take on an indestructible adamantium laced Wolverine and thought – this isn’t going to end well.

The following took place during a recent Capcom photo shoot to promote the upcoming PSN videogame Marvel vs. Capcom 2. PS3 Attitude was there as a guest director.
The events that unfolded were captured by the surviving camera crew in video and pictures. This is the first of a series of unfortunate set of events during said photo shoot.
Speaking through the spooky medium of Twitter, Capcom have confirmed that those of us barely containing our lust for stabbing Ryu in the face with our adamantium claws are simply going to have to wait a little longer than expected.
We know – we’re gutted too, but it appears Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is a little under-cooked and needs further time in the development oven. Or has Sony’s onerous publishing process struck again? After all, Capcom also refer to how “digital release dates can be tricky” in their tweet.
Speaking of badly kept secrets, you may recall that countdown site we mentioned last week. As it’s now resembling an Icelandic bank’s balance sheet (showing nothing but zeroes) it’s time to perform the big reveal.
Who are we kidding? We’ve all known Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is on its way but at least now, thanks to the guys over at Capcom community, we have a slew of new details about the upcoming PSN remake.
