The PlayStation Network has come a very long way in the last five years.

Believe it or not, there was a time when merely a handful of games were available on the PlayStation Store, and only a fraction of those were actually worth playing. However, nowadays, Sony’s online service is full to bursting with quality titles that have no doubt had your virtual wallet begging for mercy on more than one occasion.

Marvel Pinball – The PS3 Attitude Review

Pinball fans, rejoice! Zen Studios, the makers of the popular Zen Pinball, are at it again. This time, they are providing four new tables based on characters from the Marvel universe. Unlike the recent pinball releases from Zen, this is actually a stand alone title and not downloadable content.

Does the combination of Marvel and Pinball make for a great game or is there simply not enough content to justify the price?

What the Disney/Marvel merger could mean for gamers

Earlier this week, news broke that Disney will be acquiring Marvel Entertainment and its vast portfolio of over 5000 characters. The agreement came to Marvel shareholders receiving $30 in cash and about 0.745 shares of Disney for each share they held, totaling approximately $4 billion.

As fans of both Disney and Marvel, we can’t help but wonder how this will affect the gaming community. Will we be seeing a cross-over game featuring superheroes and cartoon characters ala Kingdom Hearts or will the differences be much more subtle?
