Arriving later this year on PSP is The 3rd Birthday, it’s the long awaited third game in the Parasite Eve universe – the first two games arrived on PSOne. If Tetsuya Nomura’s comments are anything to go by, it sound as though Parasite Eve 1 & 2 will be arriving on the PlayStation Store at some point in the near future. This will no doubt be great news for all those dedicated fans.

It Came From Japan #8 – Parasite Eve

Though technically not coming from Japan at all (it was developed in Squaresoft’s California office), Parasite Eve is very much the quintessential Japanese game.

An RPG with lush cinematics and quirky random battles, Squaresoft’s modern day tale of transformation and deceit ticks a lot of boxes when compared to similar games that surfaced in the late 90s.
