Without a doubt, the most welcome news to come out of Sony’s conference was that the PS4 will support used games, and won’t require an internet connection. But almost as good as that was the fact that PlayStation Plus subscriptions will incorporate PS4 games and features at no additional cost.

A lot of gamers have been pretty down on PlayStation Plus here recently, citing that the actual content available is not very expansive and not very good. The US PlayStation Blog just rolled out the next round of stuff that’s coming to users in the US, and this batch might just change people’s minds.
It has been announced on the EU blog that ALL European PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to access the Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood beta from 27th September; one week earlier than anyone else.

The news is in: over at the EU PlayStation blog, Sony have announced the content that will be available on PlayStation plus throughout August and September. As expected, it’s a mix of PSN games, minis, PSOne Classics, full game trials, DLC, dynamic themes and avatars.
Electronic Entertainment Expo – better known as E3 – is the biggest date on the gaming calendar. The event was as big as ever this year and, unsurprisingly, it stole our attention for the best part of June. All the leading publishers were there promoting upcoming titles, hoping that they could impress us journalists enough so that we would enthuse about their projects to you. There is a lot of enthusing to be done.
