The sales from last week march on through August 3rd. Also the newest game to hit the store: Section 8: Prejudice is being offered for free to the first 1000 PlayStation Plus members that download.
Not to be outdone by the discounts already featured by other publishers, THQ has offered up their own sale for PlayStation users which includes the likes of Comet Crash, Costume Quest and Stacking.
Outside of the sale this week sees the release of Section 8: Prejudice and a rather pricey new app for Move owners with creative inclinations.
Time to save some cash on the games you may have missed the first time around. Two separate sales hit the store this week so you’re more likely than not to find something that tickles your buying bone.
Don’t forget that this week also sees the awaited release of Limbo. Overall it’s a pretty hefty update so head on in and check it out.
The update this week not only brings us a bunch of very enticing discounts, five new games are also hitting the store including the long-awaited Limbo.

If you’ve ever had the distinct pleasure of attending a garage sale you know what it’s like to come upon a set of goods that isn’t particularly alluring. No TVs or sword collections to draw you in but the possibility of finding something to your liking always exists. That’s pretty much what we have in this week’s update.
Not much by way of new content but still worth checking out.
No new games this week people. Disappointing as that is there is a really nice Summer Sale currently running to draw your attention. So if you haven’t downloaded PixelJunk Shooter 2 or PacMan Championship Edition DX this is the time.
This week’s update gives European PlayStation fans the chance to download a certain arcade rally-racer, continue their Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta conquests and pick through a selection of EA summer discounts.

The US had its 235th birthday this week. Hope you celebrated properly and were able to drag yourself into work the next day.
Thankfully you got all of your celebrating out of your system because there isn’t much to get excited about in this week’s update. Highlights include a racer heavy sale and the public release of the Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta. Check it out.
This week’s update is rather substantial. There’s a treasure trove of discounted downloadable content to pick through as well as a healthy does of brand-new content.

At long last the Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta has arrived. However it’s only available to those who purchased inFamous 2 or are PlayStation Plus members…wait we’re all PS+ members (thank you outage, I think).
Other highlights this week include the very fun twin-stick shooter, Gatling Gears and the HD release of Beyond Good And Evil. Anyone want to buddy up in the beta?
The European PlayStation Store consistently outdoes its North American counterpart in terms of full-game downloads. This week is no different as EU gamers are granted the option of a full Blu-Ray download of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit.
In other news, Cole Phelps returns to the arson desk with the ‘Nicholson Electroplating Arson Case’. If you’re planning on collecting all the DLC that L.A. Noire is scheduled to offer, the Rockstar Pass would be a wise investment.
Summer has officially begun PS3 Attitude fans. Time to cut off the bottom halves of your pants and jump in a lake. In accordance with the seasonal change EA is offering shimmering content discounts for three of its titles. 3 on 3 NHL Arcade is a fantastic way to melt away an afternoon with two friends.
As for the rest of the update, well, if you were to say that this wasn’t the strongest selection of content ever to his the PSN we wouldn’t disagree.
This week the store update is a little on the bare side. Magic The Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 and Midnight Club Los Angeles Complete Edition are looking like fantastic downloads but this is a top heavy group.
It may be time to dust off your ten-gallon hat and collection plastic instruments as the country-themed Rock Band Mini-Sale is available this week only.
Of course there are other downloads to be had here. Who knows maybe you’ve been waiting for a chance to play the original Tekken again.
This week the PlayStation Store update gives us the highly anticipated release of Outland. Developed by Housemarque, the team behind the distinguished Super Stardust and Dead Nation, Outland is a strategic platformer that has already garnered plenty of praise.
Other highlights this week include the Call of Duty Black Ops: Escalation pack as well as Magic The Gathering: Duels Of The Planeswalkers 2012 and Midnight Club Los Angeles: Complete Edition (a banner week for colons). As always there are other downloads that may catch your eye so head on in and check out the update.
Like the North American update, this week the European store is receiving somewhat of an abbreviated selection of content. However North American users have reason to be jealous of their European brethren as inFamous 2 and Beyond Good And Evil HD are both available for download this week.
With all that E3 week brings to the table it’s easy for our dear PlayStation Store updates to get lost in the shuffle.
It may not be the largest bevy of content to ever hit the PSN but there is some value to be had. Remember we’re all PlayStation Plus members for the time being. Take a look.
Once the PlayStation Store got to once again sample the oh so sweet taste of updates it couldn’t control its thirst for new content.
All of the content we missed during the outage is pouring out of the store. The dam has broken. Let the flood begin.
Welcome Back content is currently available but beware of downloading stipulations. For instance be sure to click through the ‘Welcome Back’ banner instead of heading straight for the games of your choosing. Unless of course you don’t like free games.
One update wasn’t enough to capture all the content that has been building up during the outage. Yes, the June 1st update was substantial but there’s simply more to be had.
It’s Welcome Back time people so make sure you get your free games this week. One particular stipulation for the program is that you must select your free games from the Welcome Back banner on the storefront. Going straight for the game will mean you will be paying for it.
