In conjunction with the release of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Naughty Dog is availing the entire Crash Bandicoot catalog to PS+ users for free.
Other highlights include the commencement of DCUO free to play, Hydrophobia Prophecy and downloadable content for both Batman: Arkham City and the aforementioned Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.
This week PAL territories receive a very timely Halloween themed sale. In it you’ll find the likes of Limbo and the Prince of Persia trilogy so it’s definitely worth taking a look at.
Other highlights include inFamous: Festival of Blood and PixelJunk Sidescroller. Take a look you just might find something for yourself.
Just in time for All Hallow’s Eve Sucker Punch hath released the long awaited vampire themed DLC pack, inFamous: Festival of Blood. Prospective vampires rejoice!

This week the PlayStation Store atones for the pathetic excuse for an update we all received last week with an explosion of new content and discounts.
All PSN users are privy to a large selection of discounts however Plus members are given special access to their own eclectic gathering of altogether free and discounted content. Take a look.
This week’s update on the European store is practically in lock-step with yesterday’s North American update (not good).
Highlights this week include Sideway: New York, a Call of Duty themed sale and hope for next week.
Not a good week for NA PS3 owners and unfortunately such things are typically a harbinger of things to come on the European side. If this week’s update had a face you’d have to pay a carny good money to see it.

It’s quite in vogue to wax nostalgic about the days of the Dreamcast, and why not, Sega’s last console gave the public some excellent games even if most of us never owned a Dreamcast. This week the PSN adds two popular Dreamcast titles to its library with Sega Bass Fishing and Space Channel 5 Part 2. One for anglers and one for fans of the obscure.
Also, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the debuts of NBA Jam On Fire Edition, Crysis Console & Eufloria. Time to check it out.
When it comes to getting classic Japanese PS one titles on the PlayStation Store, no one does it better than MonkeyPaw Games. Up until now, these releases have been confined to the US Store. Not anymore.
MonkeyPaw Games announced today the launch of the new PS one Import Section on the European PS Store. The first three titles to grace the new store are Arc the Lad, Cho Aniki and Sonic Wings Special.
The public availability of the Battlefield 3 beta highlights an update which includes an HD release of Resident Evil: Code Veronica and Rochard, an exclusive puzzle-platformer.
There’s more to be had in this meaty update including full downloads of Crysis 2 and FIFA 12. Check it out.
This week’s North American PS Store update brings Resident Evil Code Veronica X HD to join its Resident Evil 4 HD brethren from last week. There’s also the PSN exclusive Rochard from Sony Online Entertainment and Castlevania: Harmony of Despair if zombies don’t suit your fancy.

It may not be new per se but Resident Evil 4 HD’s release this week means that gamers who missed the outstanding survival horror trek the first time out get the chance to experience the game largely considered to be the high water mark of the franchise.

The final week of PlayStation Network PLAY bears the release of the recently previewed Renegade Ops. Additional downloads include the awe-inspiring god game From Dust and a very nice selection of full game downloads of PS3 games.

An egotistical lead character, lots of zany randomness, uber-colourful environments and whack-a-mole gameplay — the DeathSpank series definitely sits in the “love/hate” category, and The Baconing is certainly not going to be to everyone’s taste. The simple rule is, avoid this if you didn’t fancy the last two games or if you cringe at the thought of random humour. Otherwise read on.
This weeks North American PS Store update comes with plenty of discounts for Star Wars fans as well as some exciting new games where you can become a god in From Dust or take down the gods in God of War: Origins.
Also, if you’ve yet to play Bulletstorm you can now purchase a digital copy of the entire game straight from your console. Rounding out the downloadable games is Renegade Ops, Ferrari – The Race Experience and Elemental Monster Online Card Game. No matter your tastes, you’re bound to find something to enjoy this week.
Renegade Ops is a new PSN title, published by SEGA and developed by Avalanche Studios, that will make its way to your hard drive in the next few days.
