North American PS Store Update for October 11 – not a whole lot going on

Not a good week for NA PS3 owners and unfortunately such things are typically a harbinger of things to come on the European side. If this week’s update had a face you’d have to pay a carny good money to see it.

North American PS Store Update for October 4 – The bass fishing game you’ve been waiting for

It’s quite in vogue to wax nostalgic about the days of the Dreamcast, and why not, Sega’s last console gave the public some excellent games even if most of us never owned a Dreamcast. This week the PSN adds two popular Dreamcast titles to its library with Sega Bass Fishing and Space Channel 5 Part 2. One for anglers and one for fans of the obscure.

Also, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the debuts of NBA Jam On Fire Edition, Crysis Console & Eufloria. Time to check it out.

The Baconing – the PS3 Attitude review

An egotistical lead character, lots of zany randomness, uber-colourful environments and whack-a-mole gameplay — the DeathSpank series definitely sits in the “love/hate” category, and The Baconing is certainly not going to be to everyone’s taste. The simple rule is, avoid this if you didn’t fancy the last two games or if you cringe at the thought of random humour. Otherwise read on.
