This week the flow of new content has slowed to more of a trickle. Slam Bolt Scrappers represents the lone new title.
You know it’s a slow week when the highlights come largely from the demo pool. Nevertheless the trio of demos are intriguing. Finally we get to play Crysis 2 and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 (Tiger has now been wiped off the cover).

As per usual there is a hefty amount of add-on content hitting the store. Perhaps you will unearth something that strikes your fancy. Happy hunting.
Well PS fans it’s time to reap what you have sown. Last month gamers were given the opportunity to vote on your favorite games featured on the PlayStation store in the last year.
Of course there’s more but your going to have to head on in and look for yourself. Happy hunting.
PixelJunk Monsters 2 rules the update this week but what the avatars lack in content they make up for in sheer numbers.
Not to be outdone by the swarm of avatars is a healthy batch of add-on content. The Call of Duty: Black Ops map pack is sure to be the top download of the week but do not look past Dead Space 2 – Severed and the Dragon Age 2 downloads.
All told it looks like a good week. Take a look and download away.
While we wait for the folks at SOE to count all of your votes for the Gamer’ Choice Awards (let’s hope they’re not based in Florida) there’s a fresh batch of content ready to be downloaded.

Normally as consumers our only vehicle with which to voice our opinions with any sort of weight is with our dollars. How can Activision charge $15 for a pack of broken maps? Because it was downloaded about 2.5 million times in the first week.
This week however we get the chance to actually vote for our favorite games featured on PSN in the last year. Winners will be determined in the following categories: exclusives, PS3 games, PSP games, and minis. Said winners will then go on sale following the March 1 deadline (although if you bought it, loved it, and then voted for it what good would a sale be?). Make sure you get to the store and cast your vote.
Well folks there are again more minis to be had this week as the February Mega minis Sale rolls on. A brand new slate of minis has burst onto the scene replacing the tired, old slate from last week.
Minis aside the highlight of the update has to be the Killzone 3 single player demo. A game that looks promising enough to be one of the system’s landmark titles this year. All that stands between you and shooting Helghast are 1522MB.
There is more to be had here so get in and start downloading.

Highlights this week include a Yakuza 4 demo and a flashback to the wild and crazy 80’s when skateboarding nobodies were able to travel through time with eccentric kook scientists in an appalling car. You may notice that the normal GuitarHero update is missing and it will continue its hiatus into the foreseeable future.
Crack open this week’s gift box and see if there’s anything for you.
The PSN is home to many of the great Final Fantasy games such as VII and VIII but soon European gamers will get the opportunity to purchase the two titles that started it all; Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II.
That is of course if you missed out on the original NES version, PSP version, or any of the many other versions out there.
If you haven’t done so already the PS Store is determined to save you some coin with the continuance of the Mega minis Sale. Although one could make the case that purchasing BREAKQUEST at any price is counterproductive.
Those of us not into the minis can look forward to a trial and unlock for the critically acclaimed Plants vs. Zombies and the release of Explodemon! and Tim Schafer’s Stacked. Other than that it looks like we have somewhat of a dry week and Vicheous’s craving for The UnderGarden will unfortunately continue on to next week. But who knows you maybe you didn’t even know you wanted a Tron avatar. Have a look and see.
It’s safe to say that this is a pretty nice time to be a PlayStation Plus subscriber. Last week’s PS Store update gave said subscribers three games for free. For an encore PS+ gamers are granted free access to Tim Schafer’s Stacking (this not that) , an innovative new downloadable title that has players jumping in and out of a multitude of uniquely powered dolls.
If you’re still on the fence with PS+ there’s no need to fret because we’ve got a couple of great games making their debut on the store. Also get yourself in on the Killzone 3 multiplayer open beta and check out the trial and unlock of Tetris because believe it or not the game shaped up to be worth a go given the implementation of online leaderboards and multiplayer. If new fangled games aren’t quite your bag take a trip to the past with Crash Bandicoot 2 and enjoy the polygonal visuals or get back to your arcade roots with X-Men Arcade.
